Not all of them, mostly the EU and some other European countries. These are the realities of the market. Also industry standards.

ElTerprise: Maybe because it lacks a french language version? [...]
That would be a quite odd reason.

DyNaer: iirc , only during sales.... funny i can access to the discussions , but the product page isn't avaible LOL
Discuss something you can't access, purchase, play. How considerate.
FYI I can't see DA:O Ultimate in Mexico Steam either. I'm stuck with Base and the expansion.
avatar
DyNaer: yes, base game + expansion (seperate entries) are avaible... i just don't really understand.
That's just ridiculous and doesn't make any sense. It even has a french translation of the game page O_o

Fair enough. But i'd rather be ripped off consistently than having these discrepancies :|

Let's not start talking about odd reasons to prevent games from being available in certain regions shall we? ;)

I prefer, and choose, to not be ripped off at all, period.

Oh, so now you've become a region too? ;-P

That's another industry standard and market reality - an online store-front in one's native language implemented via the "don't touch" approach.

Huh...so it's not only a French problem

I know but it's weird to leave out the biggest country it's spoken in ...

It's a gross rip-off, actually - you end up paying more than the rest of the EU, for the same (or perhaps less?) content...

That goes without saying... i was merely asking for harmonising the unfair pricing.

*sigh* I know that darn steam page with "not available in your countr/region" too well ;)

Which is not always working though ;)

Oh and i'm well aware of the reality of the market - even more since the rather excessive reduction of the German storefronts on several digital platforms.... :)

Oh, somehow missed the rest of this discussion here. Odd. Anyway, found this little bit.

And it's blocked in plenty of regions, a quick search also found or [url=http://steamcommunity.com/app/47810/discussions/0/558750985730440936/]this.
