I've spelled out everything in plain English and you still think this is all about money and the issue with Outlaws. Outlaws is FINISHED! I actually finished the game yesterday. There is nothing wrong with the way GoG's refund policy is written nor implemented.
It gives them the leeway they need not to be forced to give refunds for overblown complaints such as yours. Perfect, as you don't deserve a refund for the non-issue you had. It's a minor annoyance at best.

And then their customer service still offered you a one-time store credit if you push the point. Basically saying politely that they'll let it go this time, but don't expect to get store credit next time for such an unimportant minor issue.

Basically, outside of the response time, dealt with your situation in a very appropriate and respectable manner.

Well look at that! GOG has considerably upgraded their return policy! All of you morons who gave me my bad rep can now thank me and others for speaking up as you raked us over the coals and said that there was nothing wrong with their return policy to begin with.
