Last year's 15th anniversary event/sale lasted from 22nd to the 29th of September.

Correct, and the year before that it was between the 29th of September and the 9th of October. We will soon, one way or another, see what they decide to do this year :)

I think their anniversary sale will be around Halloween and they will release Resident Evil 3. Hopefully they release the newer RE games but probably not gonna happen.

It would feel like a mistake to not release RE3 around Halloween, whether as part of an anniversary sale or as part of a specific Halloween sale.

GOG has revealed that Resident Evil 3 is going to be released September 25th. While this is not confirmation, it is a pretty big hint that a major sale is going to start soon. Both the release of RE1 and RE2 were connected to major sales (Summer and Back to School) in order for more attention to be able to be drawn to the platform.

Combined with the rumors that the Autumn sale was going to start in the end of September and it does feel like something is going to happen soon.

GoG revealed on their Core-Community-Discord, that the Autumn Sale will start on 25th of September at 10:00 (UTC+2).
