brainvision: also a game from 2008 could be bought on sale and never activated because maybe you already have it, so you could sell the key.
GOG doesn't have keys by default. People who buy games for themselves have them automatically added to their accounts. The refund window for unintended purchases is short; it's not possible to trade away an old purchase you discovered during spring cleaning.

brainvision: The main issue for me is that I still think games cost too much, IMO. I know that there are hundreds of reason for that: it's just that I cannot afford those prices. That's why I search for cheaper prices (as long as it's safe enough; obiously I would prefer to spend more money and not losing less :D ).
Then pirate. "Copyright" means only entities you authorize to distribute your IP can distribute it, everything else is piracy. "Unauthorized resellers" are scammers who want your money for a glorified torrent. When you pay G2A, you're still getting a pirated game, you're just additionally losing money to a criminal rather than getting it for free like normal pirates do.

GOG has sales and special offers all the time, they even give away games for free occasionally. Just watch the official GOG site and be patient. The Witcher series, in particular, is often heavily discounted.

yep, as I said in one of my last post I just noticed I have a welcome discount which will let me save € 24 on the witcher enhanced + the witcher 2 assassins of kings; didn't know about this welcome discount, only found it after starting the thread, that is now became a general discussion about third part sellers..

Did you buy it alreadY? I may have a spare Witcher 2 key somewhere around here .

PS. Nevermind. I don't. Witcher 1 and 2 often go for something like 2. 99 during sales.

And now I shall auto type for funsies
I have a hard time trusting you to be a part of the world and the world of the world and the world of the world.
I have to say that I am a good fit for you and your team and your family to hang out with.
Is that the more I have been looking into it to be more than an example to make sure you get it in your car to be in your area and you are a good guy with some other people in this group of ways I would be able for an hour and an inch.

To get Witcher 2 for under €5, just wait for the next sale. Most games I have bought here cost me under €2.50 and a sum like that I am sure you can save up for.
Greetings!!
As you might have notice GOG has weekly sales, special themed sale and some big sales like summer sale and winter sale. Those big sales often provide one free game and you can also get a few other games for free if you spend a certain amount during the sale. You may check out the announcement of the last winter sale to get a general idea.

For me the biggest incentive of purchasing from GOG is that you get the games DRM-free.

Welcome!
I'm curious: I've never heard of GOG doing "new user" discounts. It's entirely possible that that's something they began doing quietly just recently, but it could be something else.
Do you happen to remember if it actually said something, like a message mentioning the discount?
Also, have you got Gwent, by any chance? Because people who signed up for the beta test get a free copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition that apparently manifests as an automatic 100% discount on one copy. That obviously wouldn't account for a €24 difference by itself, but it might've been part of it.
(There's also something called the Fair Price Package, but that shouldn't apply here, as neither of those games has a higher price in Italy.)

brainvision: WTF????
Use a phone and just click the suggested words to make crazy sentences.

Like this:
I am not sure if I can get the chance to see what you are going to do. You are not in a few days and I was wondering if you want to play. It was a very nice place to be a good thing to do in a few days and I was wondering if you want to play.

Apparently I ask people if they want to play a game a lot. Ha.

maybe something new, can't say because I just signed, as you know.. I got a mini banner in the home page redirecting me here: https://www.gog.com/welcome-offer. It's not plenty of games but there are all the 3 main The Witcher ones (not the Adventure "version"); a total of 29 games, if you want I can make a list..
It could also be possible that those are just "normal" discount that you could also have, somehow.. The deals are going to last for the next two days, then it seems prices will go back to normal, that's why I'm carefully considering if taking something else too..

Huh, it must be something new they started doing recently for newly-registered users, then. I've never heard of this, nor seen that page, and for me it just says "The Offer has expired". [shrug] Well, enjoy your own personal sale, I guess! =)
(And if you need some recommendations on what to buy -- or what not to -- everyone here has lots of opinions they'd love to give you. ;D )
Attachments:
The only 'USed" game I would buy would be a physical copy on DVD or CD of a older game not available new, and one that does not require on line activation; (CD Keys are different).

amok: is it enough, or do you want more?
I'm quite satisfied with the examples you gave me, thank you kind sir!

Now that does it! I bought 1 game code from G2A, it was for Dragon Age 2. What a great coincidence: I finished Dragon Age (incl. Awakening expansion & all DLC), went to Origin client to buy a second game but "due to technical issues" it just didn't process my purchase screen.
So I googled where to buy electronic game keys and bam - G2A was in the top of results, the DA2 price they had was ridiculously cheap but I had no other choice really.
Anyway, no one claimed this game code for their own and I found the game to be rather bad (Bioware practically killed more or less good fighting system in Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age 1).

Now I absolutely have to write to Origin tech support about my would be "fake" key so they could properly investigate and revoke it to somewhere else, in my experience they never did respond to any of my tickets though.

P.S. Please accept my apologies for me being impolite with you.
