What the @ell? Guess I missed something in the past day..catching up...

I'm a hell of a lot more active and engaged on forums that don't have restrictions like that; I'm not a person who can get their thoughts out in one fell swoop/also keep up via mobile when playing the game and the 10 minute rule limits that quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure I've been saying this since Champs tbh, but yes must play with you again! I'm almost out of the RL hell I've been in since October and further hells will only be by choice, so I'll probably be able to actually keep up with games again lol.


A little bit. Merge means I'm averse to posting short posts unless there's a lot of people conversing at the moment, which means I tend to sit on stuff that I otherwise post. I'm an in-the-moment player usually so this makes it hard for me to engage and town properly. Not really a problem in Oakwood as much because I didn't want to town too hard, but if I was in a situation where I thought I needed to town I can see that being frustrating.

This is coming from the person who once posted like seven times in a row though.

Sad to see this end. I was enjoying the game as overwhelming as the post size was.

Brasas - glad to see what you were up to, I wasn't sure how the hell to read you. About the only thing I had was your play was much cheekier than anything in a previous game. I did wonder if you were trying to pocket uber (ironic how that worked out).

I was suspicious of Wyrm but nothing solid. I was suspicious of drealmer's early push on brasas, but the longer he posted the more he felt town.

Newcomb - the wall thing is great, kudos

You were playing a solid game, I thing you were doing great and would have been a big asset for town. I might have had to NK you at some point :)

Everyone is missing the line in his PM that says his win condition supersedes all others. If we take out Book and Dya in the first days, it's probably all going to come down to how long Trent stays undercover because with two scum dead, Zork's Scum +1 is far less important. Zork might die if Trent stays around long enough and we are looking for a Godfather, but I'm not so sure anyone touches Zork otherwise.

@Tammy What mads me pretty sure Tom was town was his recognition that scum wouldn't say they had a bonus prize. It showed awareness that he was parsing posts for what made sense from both sides. Most scum aren't going to pick up on that.

The great irony being we could dominate the game and then lose because we didn't deal with the Neutral Survivor.

Why would you? He was an ace in the hole giving a scum + 1 if needed. ANd many townies were talking about how they probably weren't going to worry about him with a reasonable chance we off him if we reach "effective" LyLo.

Very true. I was wrong about bookwyrm though, he really did not like Zork's attitude and might have NK'd him if he could not get a lynch on him.

I have to say, I'd have been preeeeeeetty salty about that. I can't see that scenario making sense from a design perspective.

I was not sure if dya was scum, but I would have bused any of my scum buddies if I had too for sure :)

As for making it late in the game, I would love to think I would have but I'm not sure. There were a lot of strong Town players and it would have been tough to stay out off of their radar that long (I was mainly concerned with you, RW, SR, and Newcomb). But I sure would have tried my best to do it :)

As to whether Trent would have been caught, there were quite a few PRs out there. He wasn't watcher/tracker immune and if he gets jailed, that might catch him too.

So scum didn't know their teammates? I haven't read the role info, just piecing what I've seen here. PM'd yogs for it but I think he is offline for the night.
