I'm going to be cranky today (and maybe a few days) for RL reasons. Apologize in advance. Will try not to be too snarky, at least.
As context, most of the time I was on last night, the only lights on were myself, Poppy, Cristi, and the sunscreen man. I can't really banter with the mod, and cristi was already participating, so...
And yes, lights on does not mean someone is actually present in this particular thread, but lights off is a pretty good indicator the other way. so....

More of a Cylonadian, I guess. Or would that be a Canlon?
Hmmm...that does ring a bell.
The other part reminds me of Katya in Archer. So I assume it will vibrate.
As a new player I would gently suggest reconsidering.
Either call on your witty repartee or some larger strategic plan or just call on your conscious to pretend that the human mind is capable of actual random-ness - and you should have at least some outline of a plan as either alignment imo. Think of it this way - some players play down their town game so that it's easier to coast that 1/4 of the time (or 90%, if named adalia or krypsyn) on average you end up as scum.
Fairly typical free rider problem results - if you play down, everyone else can play down and suddenly the game is full of people coasting either because they are non-town and no one challenges them to bother, or because they're town preparing for that time they draw the other card.
Now, realistically, will 13 people doing actual RVS reveal something of importance? In most cases no. Just because you can't actually be 'random' in RVS, doesn't mean that everyone will know why you picked whatever you did.
But 13 people posting based on random.org will definitely not reveal anything of importance ...unless RNG results in someone actually being lynched.
Which would be kinda funny.

elebutterfly: Still, asking someone for a more "legitimate" vote instead of a random, in the second post of the entire game... that's a bit overkill, no? There's literally nothing to go off.
I don't believe I was asking SPF for a "legitimate" vote, was I? My exact question was " who would you have voted for and what facile reason would you have given?" elebutterfly: It's much less fun to watch someone else playing with themselves.
Also that joke has been forever one-upped in my head...
Different joke/post altogether. That one was LHF, admittedly - the other was more subtle. Also that joke has been forever one-upped in my head...
littlerabbit: 1. I also agree that we should make the first day count as much as poss. But it’s always going to be hard because of the lack of information available to us at this point.
Yes, but the point is not whether it is perfect but to make it relatively better, no? ;) littlerabbit: I also think that’s a bit dodgy, but I get that it is Day 1 and we have nothing to go on, so I think that Bler114 starting off a conversation has been useful in itself.
In my early town games I made the mistake of trying to create both the motion and the direction. I've gotten better at not trying to over-control the direction, at least. I think.
