I was so glad d1 was over so I didn't have to keep up and would maybe have a few days to think about it. I didn't think of submitting a night action at the time. Then Dedo messaged me a few days later saying "are you okay? I haven't seen you in a while. there are x hours of night left etc". And, - iirc - by the time I did read the message it was d2 already anyway and I was hating on myself. (Other things (including your health and Tons of IRL stress) were weighing heavily on me and it was supposed to be joyful IRL but was stressful instead and...)

Not only are these breadcrumbs unsatisfactory, most of them are from D2.

Not submitting a night action sounds very convenient.

No, claiming to watch someone as scum is dangerous, More so in RM.

I claimed early because I thought the role was Town/Town here like how I knew the role to be and wanted to put a stop your D1 Joe wagon before it gained any traction. If I knew it could be Mafia/Town here, I might have held back.

Masons are easy.
- If the Day 2 lynch is a mafia, it's safe to assume they're actually masons and both town-aligned. There shouldn't be 4 mafia in this game.
- If the Day 2 lynch is town, maybe someone with an alignment checking role can check them out assuming there isn't someone else they think is more worthy of checking out.

Lovers are harder because it would take two night actions to confirm us both, which means not checking out someone else.


It's about 2pm here in California. Based on that, I'm guessing that we have less than 48 hours.

Also tomorrow is Sunday morning for me, which is when the kidney failure cat (Ginger) gets her next dose of fluids. This will be about 9am tomorrow morning and can take 30 minutes, sometimes longer. It really depends on how compliant the kitty is. If she wiggles a lot, it will take longer due to having to stop and calm the kitty down before resuming.

Re the lovers, I think Joe leans shady and cat looks towny. If it wasn't for catv suggesting it, I'd be more uncomfortable. I'd prefer Joe to cat because Joe looks worse. I know catv said she'd die if Joe dies, (I'm on mobile and looking is hard) i don't recall if the reverse is true.

Re lift: yes, dk, rzaba, yourself, and myself have/had all claimed "town pr" without giving details. I could ask you the exact same question as to your motive.

@frost so is pookas crumbs unsatisfactory at best. I had more copies of equally weak crumbs "see" "watch" etc on d1 but I thought crumbs were going out of vogue and so didn't really bother.

Why claim? Because I'm at L-2, and if there are two scum and not in my wagon, I'm dead, and if I've more person votes for me and 1 scum hadn't voted yet for me, in dead, and I'm afk all day Sundays anyway, so if it don't claim now we don't have time to hunt scum before end of day 2.

Honestly, claiming to watch an action less role who isn't suspected by many or any is very easy for scum to fake imo.

Lovers - We've discussed the workings of the Lover role multiple times over now to the extent that everyone should be an expect at this point. These types of comments are starting to irk me just because it really does feel like the people doing it are trying to exploit Joe and myself to use us as a distraction. The next person who acts like they don't understand really should have their own behavior put under a microscope.

The way the Lovers role works is that if one Lover dies, the other dies. Lynch one and both die. Night kill one and both die. The only complication is that both Town/Town and Mafia/Town are considered normal variations here. Anything that involves only one dying is going to be bastard rules, and there are no bastard rules in this game. (See Post #1.)

The only discussions we should be having from this point onward in regards to the Lovers role is if one of us looks mafia. If the answer is yes, then people should lynch.



Also not using an information gathering night action is a bit of an issue.

If we believe that Razza did a gun check on Lift as a night action, this means that all information gathering roles had the option to use their night actions. Since Lift wasn't voting for Scene on Day 1, it's not unreasonable to check him out even if his final vote could have been the result of the medical emergency that he had.



It's also interesting that Microfish's most resent post was almost an hour ago and ends at 637 thus doesn't answer Vitek's question in 638. I'm sure that Vitek would like an answer.

This doesn't add up with my own experience of having a PR this game. Perhaps others know what I'm talking about, but if not I'll spell it out. I think Vitek may be thinking along the same lines as me.

Yes, it shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone that I also have a PR (it's fairly obvious by this point that we're in role madness). No I am not willing to give more info than that without a good reason.

Point is, Micro's explanation for not doing anything doesn't make sense as far as I'm concerned. It sounds more like an excuse made by someone for why they don't have a result for a PR they don't really have.

Okay, I'm back at last from IRL. I rechecked my DMs. I received one message from Dedoporno. I looked back at chat history to see what my role actually was, and (without quoting), I'm a Watcher, but my power doesn't begin until N2. IOW, I was powerless N1 and now am powerful! Yipee! or something.

That would explain only one message from dedo and it wasn't asking about my night action but was more of a prod. I feel a) stupid for not recalling this. b) relieved I didn't waste my power c) wishing I hadn't bothered y'all with an incomplete claim.
