I probably should have guessed that joes time in the game was limited after handing us a scum lynch, but the way that whole event played out just seemed too convenient. The way dedo just gave up smelled too much of a mutually agreed scum bus.
Nice idea.
(if i'm understanding it right)

That said, your plan probably wouldn't have worked(re joe getting your message first) as from what I and others have figured, messages likely come AFTER all other actions for the night are complete/submitted to Lift.

Gh started to sing along as the song played:

(Yeah Dedo was scum, but this song goes out to him and his attempt at winning, cut short by my fellow town)

You see a blink of lightning in Bess's eyes. She rises her both heads with pride

You are sure this time. Her red eyes definitely glow in the light. For a brief moment, you can't help but think that she resembles a Cerberus, but with 2 heads instead of 3. She takes a step towards you. You feel the shiver traveling through your spine. You gulp.

Then, a few things happen at the same time. Bess steps on a toy car.. That wouldn't normally be a problem with her 4 legs, but with a reflex move to regain balance, her tail whips a broom, which ends up falling between her legs. She still tries to move, with a desperate attempt to regain her balance, but the broomstick tackles her, hard. You hear a shattering sound, Bess's moan, and the sound of her fall.

Interesting concept.

Were I the target, how am I supposed to survive until the next night when you save me in jail??

Wouldn't a targeted kill get killed??

I think "target" means a general target, like that of a Lyncher. Not a target who was targeted by SK on that particular Night.

How would you know if the lyncher hasn't already gotten their target or died? Does your win condition rely on you getting to the lyncher before he can do that? Is the lyncher scum or neutral?

Apologies if any of those are dumb questions

Nope, I'm Town. My win condition is same as Town, I get nothing by getting the Lyncher: it's purely investigative.

So your ability doesn't contribute anything to your game objective? Seems surprising to me but then again we have a gender bender. However that's a role which kinda works in tandem with track'er so it helped town objective indirectly.

It does contribute, though I agree it's less useful that some others. By identifying a third party scum, he can be neutralised before doing too much damage to Town. If I identify a Town target you can get him protected.

I read the role but when I saw only 1 NK for all nights till now I came to conclusion that we most likely don't have an SK or there's a doctor who's saved one kill every night so far. Am I missing something here?

Then again I do remember a game where I think Jmich was lyncher and I was his target. I think it was my first game, he got me with a 1-shot vig which could be used by him during day, near end of game when I was made to claim iirc.
