@Cadaver, would you consider the language questions I posed for you above?
========================
Carradice: If Pookie shoots the Bulletproof, it leads to essentially a no-lunch.
Lifthrasil: But it would net us a proven Scum. If someone is proven Bulletproof, that someone must be Scum!
[...]
@Carradice: also, saving the Shot of the Dayvig for another Day isn't possible if Pookina really is the Dayvig. If she saves her shot, she will be killed Tonight. We can't prevent the kill, because Scum have a Strongarm. So you urging the claimed Dayvig to hold back looks quite bad. Especially coupled with your implication that uncovering the bulletproof scum would be bad for us. I don't like your reasoning at all!
To be clear: I'm not saying 'use the shot immediately'. But Pookina has to use it Today or we will most likely lose it.
Seriously? So LIft would advocate for shooting someone straightaway, risking A LOST DAY. If the target is taken to lunch instead of shot, it would be equally dealt with but ONE DAY BEFORE.
The Lift is a veteran player, plus a rational one. Has he really thought this through? The other option is: He knows (mafioso or townie) that the real way to make a difference is shooting someone who is NOT getting a lunch any soon. Scenes has proposed the Lift as a target. Is this really what worries Large?
Again, the best use (IMHO) for the Day Shot if Pookie is its real custodian, is either shooting someone who, to her eyes, is very suspicious and is not getting a lunch any soon. Failing that person to exist, the best would be waiting until the voting advances. If she does not like the result at L-1, or if there is risk of no-lunch, then by all means use the shot.
Anything else is foolish. Lift knows that. Nevertheless, he is bent on making Pookie shoot a sure lunch. Why????
Waiting for Lift to think it carefully. Although maybe he did. If a change of mind fails to happen, the only logical interpretation would be that he is feeling the heat and he is going on an agressive mode to save his skin. This, regardless of him being scum or townie. So far I never thought him scummy in this game (although his lurkiness on Day 1 was something to remember). Now I am not su sure. I would hate that he was scum. With Zeffer gone, I hoped for Large to remain a pillar of rationality. I expected way more from the Lift in this game. At least Shirley is being rational and thinking about this properly, which is something
Meaning, I am open to new ideas, as long as they are consistent. So far, shooting Walkins instead of getting a lunch for him is nothing but making the damage to Town more complete.
