Case 5 - he's Town and he's genuinely trying to explain away Rager's perception of him

Case 3 is possible and he asked for my role on Day 1, which is more indicitive of this.

Who else do you suspect most at this stage? Are we happy with letting lurky players live?

1) And you felt right. I, among others (if there are any others left except for the lynched Micro and killed ZFR), was *conspiring* against you since D1. So I thought that you're Mafia.
2) There were 3 main wagons: Micro (from the beginning), Laser (initial) and Scene, you (after Laser). Only Micro was confirmed to be Town. Not Laser, not you.. And the other wagons, including Laser and you are on unidentified players, not Town!
3) So I'm Town in your eyes, right? Maybe a little far fetched. Mafia have EVERY REASON to conspire, vote and change wagon like gloves if it will help them to confuse Town enough, to distract them from possible Mafia lynch target (e.g. Laser, Scene) and lynch the innocent (in our case, Micro).
4). So you think your wagon might be all Town, let's see.

In other words you don't think that ZFR (dead Town), Micro (dead Town) and Cadaver, me (???) are Mafia. You don't suspect the deceased Town could be Mafia, surprisingly so.
You know, you could have said it differently, like *I don't think Cadaver is Mafia* or *I read Cadaver as Town*, but the way you said it is very, and I mean VERY, odd.
5) Thank you! At last, for that small portion of actual reasonable thinking I can give one tiny Town point but you get yourself a bit of Mafia points as well, so can't say it changes anything for me, but it's better than nothing.

You know the answer (up above), it was because I have to click EDIT in order to preserve the precious quotations from the other user, Scene. But that dirty tactics can be used by filthy Mafia and even by clumsy Towns to hide they unprompted and dangerous thoughts, if you get my meaning. So one should ever edit their posts in any circumstances in exception for OP posts of course and the deceased *farewells*.

It's obvious where this is headed, so I want to put it out there early. The setup also gives us leeway.

We have a 50% chance at lynching scum today, which are great odds if people would quit acting silly.

Do you mean that it's 50/50% between you and Scene or was it something else?

And if you are Town, by claiming early instead of trying not to get lynched without claiming, you made shooting for PRs easier for scum.

If you are scum, however, you probably just selected the minumum effort, low risk claim.

It's too risky for mafia to claim a PR this early on, and I'm quite confident either me or scene were investigated (both vanilla). That's 4/10 confirmable players, which leaves a 50% chance of hitting scum among the remaining six.

Worse case scenario the cop investigated a town PR, but those are still favorable odds on day two.

We have two flip confirmed players plus everyone knowing their own alignment. To the cop maybe there are four confirmed players, but only to the cop.

Maybe he is vanilla, or isn't but is still town.
