I have been pondering that regardless of alignment, Joppo subbed into a hard spot at a critical time. Thank you Joppo!

The fact that Joppo hasn't voted looks very scummy.
Thanks Cristi.

I've been waiting for GR to come back because he should have some input, but now that the hammer already dropped...

The scum team regrets to inform that we are not able to go on with the current skirmish. See you another time. We thank you for your attention and effort. We leave the field and our warmest regards to you.

We already checked with Joe that this was okay. We are not going to waste everybody's time.

Game Over

SirPrimalform: Case in point. The only real question is why Carradice didn't just snatch victory earlier?
It's cute that you still believe I am easily lynched. I prepared a full hand of cards, and didn't need to play any of them.

Thanks. I wasn't looking forward to the game being drawn out for another two days.
Well, congrats scumteam.

Played us all too well.

What? Their strategy was awful.

LASER97: I just wanted someone to quote my new avatar
We can't quote something we can't see yet...

In case anyone wants an early preview.

Nope, I have no idea what I'm supposed to quote.

You concede? Well that's a bit disappointing but I guess you'd already played out the possibilities? I take it you're not the strong arm then?

I never once said I thought you were easily lynched.

Not going to worry about double posting now the game is over.

Either I've missed something or you have.

joppo: Game Over
I was wondering how things would proceed.

Joppo, if you don't mind me asking, had you planned to counter-claim coming into the D3?

I was leaning you being town when you first claimed. I was still of the scum!spf mindset then.

This made me smile too!

Thanks for being so town SPF, that I had to check my bad read.

Sorry for being inadvertently scummy!

It was quite nice when people mostly started coming round to my side in the DocWars. I made sure not to react in my posts though as I thought it would make people change their minds.
As I told Joe over private message, I had been playing intentionally anti-town the first two days. Not to gauge reactions like I previously told SPF, but so that now all of my future actions are excused. It's what I refer to as "meta-busting."

Rest assured though, I had never expected to get lynched for even a moment. It truly is a superpower.

I figured it was part of some kind of "told you so" power play.

For the record, I don't like it.

Well that escalated quickly(to quote a favorite scene of mine). o.0

Btw here's my(now our, I guess) bah post(wanted to post it after the trouble I went through making it up, even if the game is over):

-----------------------------------------------

Well ya seem to have gotten us...so some music for ya rat fink mooks what to celebrate to: =======================================

To ALL players: Good game, and I wish I could've done better.....if I had taken lonzi's pick(cristi) it's very likely we could've won....so sorry Lonzi, I blew it, and I am sorry my hubris and such cost us a win.

That said, I have a TREAT in store....one of you will win a SPECIAL PRIZE....I will be drawing a name from the player pool at ranadom, and that person will win: A 10 dollar(or so) game credit on GOG :D

(Anyone who wins can either claim it, or ask for a game for a friend, or even pass it on to another player in this mafia game)

I will be drawing the winner in about a half hour, so stay tuned(though if the user doesn't respond I will PM them to see how they want to proceed). :)
<fist pump> That read of laser/scene day one was right.

@Joe - thanks for hosting! The flavor was great. Though, I think scum were at a disadvantage. I'm not good at the balancing stuff.
5 - Games O'Rager (GameRager) - supplementscene, LASER97, SirPrimalform, Cristigale, Pookina,

1 - Shirley Primalley (SirPrimalform) - Joppo,

0 - Shapie Lonzi (Joppo) -
0 - Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer (Carradice) -
0 - Lazy Walkins (LASER97) -
0 - Scenes Supplamicz (supplementscene) -
0 - Miss Pookie Mustard (Pookina) -
0 - Cristine the Gale (Cristigale) -
0 - No-Lunch -

Not Voting - Carradice, GameRager,

Gamerager is eliminated. He was Mafia Strongarm.

For some five or six minutes everything is very quiet and I can hear people jawing and having a good time in the front of Gog's and I am sure I can even hear Gog tapping his fingers on his countertop to the tune of "Bring them Marching Home", though I condsider later maybe that the tune is in fact "Goodbye Sweetheart", which is more suitable for Gog's voice as he is quite a fine tenor when the mood takes him.

So, in recognition of this change in atmosphere I lean over to Shapie Lonzi and ask her,
"What is being discussed at this time?" quite confidential like.
"They are deciding what is to be done about me," she tells me, "and Games O'Rager and Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer."
"Done about you?" I reply, "Why should there be something to be done?"
"It is over the matter of the Diceman who is poisoned here in May, and Cadaver Slim who is slugged in his his hotel room. They are saying that because we are doing these things, and they are the lot of them in some disapproval of these acts, that we are best to be used up one way or another,"

I find these words a little disquieting to hear, and so I remark like this:
"Shapie!" I say, still in a whisper, confidential like, "is it true you did these things?"
"I don't mind telling you how it's true, and we would be getting the rest of them like this still, were it not for them putting it together like they do. It is a terrible shame that we are only getting the two of them that we do, and they are only doing up the Fish and the Lift while they look for us, because I would greatly like to see all of them fall very hard for to make amends for the low treatment of Games' late brother Saul, who is one time my ever-loving husband and a great friend of Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer.

And she sighs at that point a very low and sad sigh, and I can not but ask her what makes her so sad as all that, and she tells me,
"Personally, I am thinking it is best to make a clean confession of things here, and let things fall out however they will, but if I am knowing Jocelyn Carradice, she is eagering up to pull something fast on Shirley Primalley, who she is always believing to do the worst for poor Saul."
And before I am asking what Jocelyn Carradice is likely to pull on Shirley Primalley, there is a horrible noise as Shirley Primalley says like this:
"AAIEEEEEEEEEUGH!"
And it seems that Shapie Lonzi has been quite exact where Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer, is concerned and Shirley Primalley has a stilletto in the neck and is causing some stir over it, and meanwhile Games O'Rager is making trouble with Lazy Walkins and Miss Pookie Mustard who all three of them have pulled out the old equaliser and slugs are going through the air and crying out whangitty whang whang as they do.

Well Shapie asks me if I don't think this is as good a time as any to take our leave, and I agree, though it does pain me no end to leave Gog's without having had any lunch at all, and she takes me by the arm and we step out the front of Gog's and the weather on the street is as fine as it gets in our city with a most unseasonable sunshine.

"It is a shame things fall out the way they do, but I am glad, at least," Shapie tells me "that you know the story of Saul, and will remember him to those you speak to."
And, though I am not knowing exactly who Shapie is expecting me to tell about all this, being as I am not the kind of guy the parties of this city look to talk to, I tell her I will do just that, and I wave fondly to her as she sets off down Broadway.

And there is really no more to tell of this story, except to say that as I turn to go I see Cristine the Gale and Scenes Supplamicz, and they are kissing each other back and forth very friendly, and it is clear to me that they are very much in love, and I hear now that they are living out in Salt Lake City, Utah, and to speak of them they are considered good and savoury characters these days, and it is thought that they will never give anybody low treatment as long as they both shall live.

The Mafia have conceded the game. They were Carradice, Mafia Redirector, and Joppo, Mafia Bulletproof Regular, filling in for Lonzi

The Game is Over! Town Win! Congratulations!

LASER97: It's shameful how lazy mafia is being right now...
More like I F'd up and picked the wrong town to take out.
(Lonzi wanted cristi as a new pick[after picking cadaver], and I argued the point stupidly, thinking it better to go after the first pick & also take out a town who might cause confusion if they were the NK)

Then when I was the likely lynch my scum mates had no choice but to try and save me if they could to keep me in the game(with my PR and all)...sadly it and my trying to get people to switch targets at the last moment didn't work.

I tip my cap to you btw....you and everyone else on the town side did a good job ferreting us out....*tips cap*

I try my best to make up for my lack of being....well...good at the sleuthing aspects of the game by adding flavor and interesting things to the game. I am glad you enjoyed it. :)

Btw make sure to stick around, as I will be drawing the winner mentioned in post 1165 in a bit. :)

More like we just weren't on at the same time to deal your character the "death blow"....if I had been on in time i'd have voted you asap.
