Everyone else has had either at least a single significant contribution that strongly reads as town to me, or has or hasn't had interaction with SPF which doesn't make sense if they were mafia together.

I'll try to do the legwork later tonight to gather my thinking into something comprehensible with quotes, if at all possible. Also to actually convince myself, as right now it's still very diffuse in my head.

The paragraph above described my whole point (although we seem to be looking at it from different sides). The Town Roleblocker role has the smallest chance of being drawn in the first place. All roles have the possibility of getting counter-claimed as more of the same role is less likely to happen. This relies on 2 of the full role as they alternate between full and 1-shot.

If scum is going to claim a full power role the risk of getting counter-claimed by the same full role is the smallest for the blocker.

There isn't more to add than what I have said so far and I really don't feel like repeating myself.

The short answer is that these people are feeling the least scummy of the bunch and look like they are trying to figure the game out even though not everyone shares the same opinions (or mine in some cases) but that is only natural considering we are not the same person.

Suddenly GameRager is back at L-2 again...I swear, I can't wrap my head around what's going on at times...

The "sentiment" surrounding GameRanger was palpable. For a minute I decided to allow it to run it's course. I've since come to my senses and will stay with my original conclusion.
