Vitek: He got convinced by your awesome lurking skills.
Well I admit I am at the top of my game. I wasn't expecting the game to start as I went back to work.
avatar
adaliabooks: Well, while I wait to find out what my role and alignment is...

How close am I to dying?

Am I the only one here who actually has played Pokemon? (judging from a lot of the comments it would seem so)
Of course not! Unlike some of these jokers, I've been sticking to actual attacks from the game.

trentonlf: I am willing to vote deadbolt, but it’s a lynch that will give us little to no information. I would prefer that we come to a consensus on someone else and a sub is found for deadbolt if at all possible. Or even more ideally deadbolt starts participating in the game.
avatar
adaliabooks: Not reading much eh trent? ;)

I've already subbed in, no need to kill me (other than for the myriad of other reasons you might wish to do so)
Welcome to the game! I honestly didn’t see you had subbed in, I am on my phone and when I clicked on the link for supplementscene answering me so I missed your subbing in post, I actually missed the last page entirely >.<

I have no interest in lynching adaliabooks today. My vote is on ZFR and that’s where I’m leaving it.
Sorry alls, I dou-blé postèd.
So, got my PM.

Current suspicions;

ZFR - Overly combative. He does remind me a little of the last game, in which he was town, but his push against Lift didn't really ring true.
Lift - I always seem to find Lift scummy. I think he comes out better of the him and ZFR but I still find him a little scummy.
Sage - Same as Lift, I always find her scummy. Hard to judge her alignment with her lack of participation so far but I get a bad feeling.
Yogs - Yogs is yogs, hard as hell to judge whatever his role is. He's overly quiet though, and I know he said he wouldn't be able to participate much but this feels more than that. But he doesn't behave like this as scum so if I were to guess I'd say neutral, but with 9 v 3 I'm not sure there's room for any neutrals..
mchack - I owe him a lynch from the System Shock game, and I get an odd feeling from him too, nothing particularly strong

I'd vote any of those five. Maybe Bookwyrm, not got a particularly strong read on him but I recall thinking he might be scum at some point.
Not really interested in anyone else, unless to avoid No Lynch.

I've played Red, Silver, and some of that one on the Gamecube where you have double battles and steal the shadow pokemon.

-----

I see that Adalia subbed in for Deadbolt, so clearly Deadbolt was indeed scum. Of course, he subbed in for me last game, and I was town (and therefore half expecting the universe to implode before the sub, to avoid having to reconcile the paradox), but maybe that was because it was a temp sub.

Anyway.

Supplement using misrepresentations to launch attacks is a bad look.
Lift's hyper aggression and then buying the misrep's is also a bad look.
Adalia's the third because Adalia.

So there's my early picks for the scum team for the big money.

Unsleep talk Deadalia

Ah well, good to know I'm not alone in having played it.

adaliabooks: ZFR - He does remind me a little of the last game
Why?
In the previous game I was under-combative, if anything. Especially at the beginning.

Oh right, my bad. You must be scum then presumably?

I get the same feeling of unsureness that I got from you last game, as if you've been given a role you're unfamiliar with it and don't know how to play it.
Scum perhaps.

Honestly I'd have to go back to the last game to refresh my memory of why you were almost the D1 lynch to see what I mean, but I don't have time right now as I've delayed doing the work I need to do as long as I could.

No, I'm town but trying to correct the mistakes I made last time. I was told I wasn't scumhunting enough not posting my opinions enough, so this is me doing it. The fact that my game now reminds you of my last game makes me sad.

Well, the only difference being last game I was willing to get lynched (since it'd give info for town), but this time I'd rather not.

I like you waited with the reads before you know your alignment. Smart move, mister Mafia. :-)

Heh, I welcomed the game started just as I was getting back to work.

Light Screen ZFR

For the most infallible tell of all, for the Lift "we" thing and for the last post (you are Lifthunting, not scumhunting, you are trying to make us compassionate and admit you are unwilling to die as you were as townie).
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Supplement using misrepresentations to launch attacks is a bad look.
There wasn't a misrepresentation as such, more a misunderstanding of the numbers. You said you might not be available today and if we had needed all town to agree as was my impression, there would of been an issue with that. I can admit I was wrong in that instance. But then again saying you're unavailable and deciding to vote against the likely candidate would be a scum tactic too.
avatar
Vitek: and admit you are unwilling to die as you were as townie.
Yup. Because I think the advantages (info) are outweighed by the disadvantages this time.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Lift's hyper aggression and then buying the misrep's is also a bad look.
Wat? I'm not aggressive towards Hyper this time. He isn't part of the game yet. And I also didn't have the impression that I am overly aggressive otherwise. Could you please point out where I was overly aggressive? Or was that a misrep on your part?
Wow! What a powerful blow!
