HerooftheNexus2021: They also feel the need to bend the knee to Cultural Marxists and virtue signal about the hottest "tragedy of the week". I WANT to like GOG, I want there to be more DRM-free games released natively on Linux. But if GOG is content to sit on a pile of mediocrity, so be it.
I'll take my money back to Steam or sail the high seas.
Johnson444: Agreed. "MuH MSM NarRativE"
Saying that, I bought Oblivion last week just to make sure I get the offline installer before Bethesda decide to jump on the forced account bandwagon.
Question: Why does every A-hole in world want you to make an account?
Answer: Spy ware, they want as much information on you as they get, to sell to other A-holes.
The world is nothing if not filled with rampaging a-holes. The world is a vast sea of stupidity.
darkdoom1: Are there alternatives which are not steam and do not ship with full blown drm?
Its hard to justify giving money to a platform that would discriminate against entire human populations based upon the actions of the few. Hopefully the GOG staff are willing to reevaluate and apologize.
That won't happen. As they say, "never underestimate the power of large groups of stupid people."
