Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled

- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

Mynny: Same, already filled bug report, hope they fix it soon.

EDIT: Seems to be fixed for me.
Looks like it's back up for me as well.
thank you for fixing the issue!

In the meantime installed Undying with backup installer, that one's called Clive Barker's Undying. The one installed through Galaxy Clive Barkers Undying. Not a big deal, but after repairing my game installation got the game installed in two folders..

edit:
Importing existing folder didn't help at all, whole game was downloaded by Galaxy again..

DlaCiebiePanicz: Hi!
I just updated GOG Galaxy (I think so), but version seems to be the same (1.03.985). Something went wrong or it's alright? How it looks in your case, guys?

As other people well said, it would be nice to be notified about changes.

IDeivis: Same here, nothing have changed after this "update".
I would like to get some information about progress on Galaxy so far. It's more than month without any news on galaxy :(
Yeah, same here, too. I had 1.0.3.985 before the update today, and still have 1.0.3.985 after it.

Because i am curious and want to follow update efforts for the Galaxy client, i made a backup of the Galaxy client folder when the 1.0.3.985 update was issued more than a week ago. So, after today's update i did a file comparison by file content between the Galaxy client folder and the folder with the backup. Result: The installation folder remains unchanged. Not a single file has been changed, added or deleted from Galaxy client's installation folder.

Which makes me asking GOG the question: What was today's update procedure about? Just some glitch, or does the update change something else outside the Galaxy client installation folder?

Been a while since a significant update, hope we seen one this week... even a large significant bug/performance patch would be welcome.
GOG Galaxy needs to show all games owned on a single page...

GOG Galaxy should copy what steam does right and abandon what steam does wrong, plain and simple.

CGZ145: I have the Beta Client on my Macbook pro and everytime I open it, it gives me a blank screen, can't buy games or look at my library. Anybody have this problem on Mac? any ways to fix it?
I get this once in a while, but if I close Galaxy an reopen it, I eventually get it to work.
Friend?
Have to admit, started Hand of Fate downloading last night (about midnight), its just over 50% done at 9:40am (almost 10hrs).
Would have been faster doing it through google (and teh old GoG downloader way faster) but that fails to even work anymore (no option to download anything though that old downloader).
Must say this is downloading the back-up files (like the old downloader did), as i tend to un-install some games but rather not have to download the whole lot when i come to want to play it again.
Getting a crop of "Not Authorized" errors again, I'm going to assume this is server-side. Again.

Yes, we're aware of the problem and working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the reply, Fallen_Zen, it seems to be working again.

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.
Please be aware that Client will accept any folder pointed to and will overwrite files inside it (this can for example wipe some mods or damage other apps in case of pointing to a wrong folder) and will update the game to the newest version (current default language English).
