金黒: Sorry, I thought my wording might have been a bit confusing; let me try to clarify:

- Amazon Prime's Spells & Secrets page "Available through": "Oct 23, 2024"
- Amazon Prime's Spells & Secrets page "Does my code expire": "must be redeemed by July 24, 2034"
- GOG "FAQ: Amazon Prime" support page: "Spells & Secrets valid until November 22nd, 2024"
And the answer when entering the donated codes into the GOG Code Redemption page says......

"Spells & Secrets expires on Jul 24, 2034"

So there you have it! Amazon is the correct one this time.

金黒: The date mentioned by GOG should match at least one of those mentioned by Amazon, but it doesn't, indicating that one (or both) of them is wrong; my guess would be that it's GOG.
Maybe GOG plans to cut the option to redeem the code on that earlier date?
GOG always has the last word on any code.

Nice.
Unusual, but nice.
Quick question, if I were to request a key from the "Past Freebies" section, does that count towards the limit or is that like requesting a daggered key? I might be interested in requesting from the Standard keys section as well.

Past freebies are a sub-category of daggered keys. They do not count towards the limit.

P.S. Remember that you cannot ask for a daggered key and a standard key in the same post.

BenKii:
Hi Benkii! I have a small question/suggestion: Isn't it easier to make a list of standard keys look like expiring temp ones with x(number) after a name of the game? Maybe you don't want to spend time counting their numbers?
PS: Got the answer thanks 2 Ice_Mage, makes sense, so no probs.

I would agree, too. With the current form, it is both somewhat tiresome to view, and it lengthens the 2nd post for no reason.

The answer is at post 395.

As Ice_Mage pointed out, BenKii already replied to this question, but with all of these Prime keys, that may actually become an issue, the post size itself, considering the forum's limit of 10k. Not that it'd be a bad problem to have, the list of available titles being too long, and now it has 6k, so the limit is still a long way off, but it may get there...
If the donors won't refuse for some reasons, those remaining Tropico 4 keys should end up in the ninja giveaway thread today, unless there's some other way to direct them to actual users quickly, so they won't go to waste.

Or spread them in the non-english subforums (french, german, polish...) a couple of days before the expiration. I offered mine from the Community GA in the french subforum and quickly found someone who was happy to redeem it.

Crap! Forgot they expired today. I've got 3 left that I'll try for the Ninja Thread. I gave the rest to drxenija who found homes for them all.
high rated
Given how many prime keys there are in the regular giveaway, and how swiftly most of those get requested when they move to the daggered section, with quite a few people asking for multiple keys in a row: Might it make sense to institute a "1 per day" limit for daggered requests? (Either all, or just prime giveaway keys.)

(Please let's not have any judgmental comments about behavior which is fine by the current rules for daggered keys. Instead, let's discuss if this proposal would actually be beneficial to the goal of spreading the joy of receiving free games to as many people as possible.) :)

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I don't think, it is necessary. The same people would request the same games, but with a delay. Besides, most of the daggered prime-keys are indeed expiring soon.

If some users long for a particular game so much, they have plenty of time to get it, while the game is not daggered yet.

And new keys keep popping up in the Community Giveaway and other threads. So it is really hard to miss a prime-game, you want.

People, who don't feel comfortable to request multiple popular games in a row can impose self-restrictions. Personally, I do it more often than not. :)
