True, but I think that user wants GOG to keep their share rather than ask them to issue a refund(which would have to come from gog's pocket or at least store credit which gog would also have to foot the bill for).

I'm not sure what that adds to what I said. We've established that Moonbeam doesn't want a refund and we've also established that this thread isn't about forcing people to have a refund if they don't want. So... in Moonbeam's case GOG would indeed be keeping their share. Or are you saying Moonbeam doesn't want anyone to get a refund? I certainly don't read it that way.

I was also musing that if GOG issued refunds to all who bought such games it'd hurt GOG more than TinyBuild and as such I think people should only ask for one if they realllly need to.

TinyBuild didn't exactly have a good reputation here anyway, but whatever they did have is currently burning down. Honestly, I hope they do the right thing and start treating their GOG customers right.
However if it comes to the point of TinyBuild leaving GOG I think offering refunds would benefit GOG from a PR perspective even if it's just store credit.

For clarification, I support the mass (optional) refunds in the instance that the games are removed from sale on GOG. If the game is definitely never ever going to see any updates here then offering refunds is the way to go.

Of course it should only be to those who ask, that's pretty much the main point I've been making in these posts. And yes, having the game removed from your library would of course be part of the deal. I wasn't suggesting GOG just throw free money at people without them asking and leave the game in their libraries. :P

I was never suggesting a blanket refund, just giving everyone the option.
As for giving everyone the option: I wouldn;'t do that as gog/officially because it'd open the floodgates and many would do it as gog had then(by legal/standards) made a contract and would have to honor it for all.
