Psyringe: Admins, please don't validate the match between Cheong and me. Cheong's connection dropped at turn 10m inb a situation where he was about to score the equalizer, from where the match could have gone either way. I'm waiting for him to come back online and discuss how to proceed.

Protip: It is not wise to use your apothecary on MNG in the first half. There is chance there will be death in the rest of match.
Well, I am down one player now.
Luckily only skink and not one of bigger guys. My 3rd best, though, already leveled up a bit.

I won 2-0 but the more important thing is there was 1 death and 1 MNG (+1 saved to nothing) on my side and 4 injuries on the lordtek's, 2 or 3 of them MNG, but one saved by regen.
I also managed to knock out fair share of Wheredemon players (no KO on my side) but each of them was quickly back thanks to Bloodweiser Girls.

My Kroxy can be only glad he has great AV. While I had good rolls overall (quite likely better than lordtrek) and he himself managed to fight quite a lot he was also Defender Down magnet and most rolls against him ended that way.
Fairly bloody match. I had my usual milion of re-rolls and I had nowhere to spend them. I think I will maybe even sell one. I have five, got sixth from kick-off event in the second, then had no chance to use any in most turns (I either lost the turn on something like sure hands re-roll) or had good rolls anyway. Then I got another from another kick-off event after I scored. :-) I ended the match with 5 I think.

I scored once in both halfs. First half lordtek started with ball but I managed to disrupt his game by injuring 1 and KOing other on 1st turn. I ultimately got possession of ball and started around turn 6 I think. The other half started by usual bashing and my repeated attempts to pick up ball (Sure hands on my 2AGI Saurus with untackled ball=6th roll succeeded) and than going for score. In few remaining turns lordtek tried to score but I stopped it and gained possession of ball on turn 16. I then tried mostly out of fun to pass between skinks and to my surprised it worked (with re-roll). So in my 3rd season with the team I achieved my first successful pass (other than hands-off). To be fair I tried it about 4 times overall as it's not in our team spirit to pass to teammates.

I also desperately need to improve my kicking. Every time I aimed near the center of opponents half and once the ball ended out of bounds, then on my half and last time it at least remained in the field but right behind the LOS.

Fun match for me but I would be happier without dead player and with MNG on both sides turned to BH.

Replay here.
Just to be sure, that G in the name of file is supposed to represent group, right?

I generally scale my injuries to a condition table to see if they get the use of it, and I use it as follows. Newbs, feel free to use this as advice, and vets, feel free to poke holes in my logic or abuse this against me. ;)

Grade 1: Badly Hurt: Never used for this unless desperately in need to keep players on the field, but it's a rarity.

Grade 2: MNG: Rarely used at this stage as well, but if it's late in the game (read: last 3 turns or so) and nobody else has been hit, then we'll be more likely to swing the roll here.

Grade 3: Niggling Injury: Generally a tougher call, but it depends on the player. Most times I'll absorb this one too, unless player has something that niggling negatively synergizes with. (like -AV or worse, another niggling injury)

Grade 4: Injury and Stat Down: Almost always a use here, but there can be rare exceptions. Example: If my big, bad Ogre takes a hit to the tune of -MA or -AG, I'm not gonna care as much. Not gonna like it, but I'm not using him for those stats. -ST? ROLL IT NOW.

Grade 5: Dead: I'd be dead if I didn't roll on one of these.

*snip*
Even with Dead, Stat Loss or Niggling I'd decide based on which player is affected.
For example: If it is a lineman with no level-up so far and it isn't already turn 15 or so, I'll most likely take the injury and "save" the Apo for more important players.

Dead on a 0 SPP Goblin? I'm sorry, mate.
Do you have any cousins?

as long as my M8 Agi4 Blitzer is on the field .. let those other loosers die .. if i save one of them .. and he will die afterwards .. ill have to jump out of something .. (preferably a window or somethong not to high ;) )

I spent almost all time I had thinking if to use apo or not and I decided in last few seconds. It was Saurus and one of the better ones. If it was skink I wouldn't hesitate, but this way I would have to use skink as replacement in the next match and every Saurus lost for whole match is big hit to my team.
It was also influenced by the fact that I was very lucky with injuries last season I played and I often even haven't used APO or was able to use it on BH at the end of match. Whole my previous season I had about 3 injuries other than BH. 1 -Av and MNG.
Of course now, I know it was bad decision but it was influenced by more factors and wwasn't as clear cut as it may seem.

well I got a -ma on a starplayer and the apo result was dead. So what'd you suggest then? ;)

You mean a hired Star Player? In that case I'd suggest it's a bug because you cannot use your Apo for those.

If it was the star player of your team, I'd take -MA and decide with a cool head after the match whether I want to keep the player or not.
I think I'm in the mood for a training match tonight if I'm not too tired. :-)

I'm down for a match, depending what time works for you, it will be about a half hour before I can play. I've got a rookie Wood Elf team in the league already. I've never played this race before time to see what the fuss is about.

Wonderful!
I should be free to play in about 2.5 hours from now (8 pm German time). Depending a bit on how quickly I get the little one to sleep. :-)

Edit: And I think I'll take the Khorne team. :-)
