It looks like Michal's team entered into the play-offs even though it had been removed from its league before advancing the schedule.

Edit 1: So, if you click on Teams, it's shown correctly, if you click on rankings, it's shown correctly, but for the calendar (P-O) the program thought "Hey, let's do it differently here and use a team that was dismissed!"

Edit 2: I was the one who dismissed Michal's team yesterday. And it shows up as dismissed. Nevertheless, could somebody (iipp0?) please dismiss it again? Manage League - Teams - click on the team - dismiss?

at the work atm. i can check when i back from work...although every admin and mod -should- have equal edit rights for this. I am league owner - but i dont think it should effect the editing. maybe?

Nope.

Michal would have to apply again for the league. And he's on holidays.
And we don't know if that would work.

We might have to create a play-off league.

Play-offs will be an elimination challenge.
8 players start, the winners go through to the next round. And so on until there is one winner. Our season 2 champion.

And yes, it might happen that we have to move the 8 play-off participants to a separate league later today.
IF that happens it means that you would have to take your team out of the GOG Weekly league and apply for a then to be created GOG play-off league. Play-offs would then be played in that league.

Season 3 will be played in the GOG Weekly League just as season 2 was.

Or you know, you could not have created special rules for the play-offs and go by the rules already established at start of the competition. No show => admin 1-0 and move on. Simple really.

You mean giving an auto-win in the first game of the play-offs? In an elimination challenge?
When it could have been avoided? (And without trouble had the program worked correctly.)

Edit: I forgot to mention this earlier: I tempered with the team order of the play-offs in an attempt to get Michal's team out and E_A's team in. The pairings shown now are NOT the correct ones for the play-offs, I think. (DC and Zeta can explain better how the order is calculated and the pairings are made.) That will all be correct once we get the play-offs running in one way or the other.

Yes. What's the big deal? Oooooh play-offs. Special. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see it as that special. Perhaps it's because it was never my goal to reach the play-offs. I'm only focused on the next game and that's it. I'm happy I'm n, don't get me wrong.

Regardless, all this trouble would have been avoided if the rules would not have changed on the go.
