bansama: Not at all. I just won't blindly accept what companies state when they have a track record to the contrary. Unless you can provide undeniable proof that Impulse *do* work towards getting currently restricted games released worldwide, then there is no reason the believe them when they say that they try.
I kinda have to agree with Bansama here. I'm sure Stardock would love to sell to everyone but at the moment they are still a little fish in the DD business so they are concentrating on their home territory the US. I am sure once they have started to increase their revenue they will branch out into other territories as they will have more clout with the publishers but as it stands at the moment the only DD outlet with that power over publishers is Steam and they seem to be willing to allow publishers to dictate price and availability as they have no real competition.
At the moment it's not difficult to see a pattern with all DD services. The US gets a great service and some amazing prices. The UK is next on the list and sometimes gets competitive prices but all too often its the US that gets them cheaper. After that the rest of the world can go jump off a cliff. I cant be the only person who can find retail copies up to €20 cheaper than they are on Steam or Impulse. Steam want €49.99 for Arkham Asylum while my local Xtravision was selling it for €32.99. This is because retailers can dictate prices to the publisher while services like Impulse cannot. Steam choose not to.
