I would like to know their DRM stance and a list of games that can be activated on steam (Empire:TW and Napoleon:TW? SS:HD? AvP?).

Tantrix: I really recommend Darkness Within 2. But it's a story driven game, so you have to play the first one.

You're more like renting the games. Their DRM policy sucks.

The Total Wars need Steam. So does AvP. Therefore you shouldn't have any problems activating those.
I would also like to know what DRM policy they have.

No, they do not have the soundtracks, which sucks because the first one has a brilliant ambient soundtrack by Trent Reznor (aka Nine Inch Nails). There are, however, methods for putting the soundtrack back in.

Thanks a lot! Works like a charm. Here's a high res texture mod along with normal mapping that can be chucked straight into the id1 folder. Works brilliantly with the dark places mod you linked to.
