Dragobr: Can anyone confirm that GG's The Witcher is fully updated, uncensored, etc?
Also, the page says "Other DRM", what could it be?
I almost bought it for this price at Steam's summer sale, but then they raised the price without warning. Well, their loss.

gyokzoli: Somebody on the GoG staff said there is no real DRM in Witcher. Unfortunately he did not go into details.

DRM-Wise: TWEE retail didn't even have strict DRM (to my knowledge). Disc check, if that (don't even think it had that).
TWEE:DC seems to pretty much be a case of "Whatever DRM the service uses".
I bought this on Impulse a while back (mostly to not have to patch) and grabbed it on GG today (mostly because I hate downloading big things with Impulse :p).
Haven't tested it yet, but I doubt there is any real DRM here (outside of the service). Don't even have a key, so activations aren't likely/possible.
Installed it.
Content wise: It comes with the two EE modules, so no need for separate installers.
Censoring Wise: It is the DC, so none of the nudity is censored. Some of the gore might be, but I never really was sure if I had the censored or uncensored version with regard to the gore :P
All in all: Well worth the few bucks. Plus, I have a lot more control over the installer, so I can install the VO/Subititle options that I want, rather than having to do an all or nothing.
That being said: Try to get the retail EE anyway. Well worth hunting for the (poorly) translated novella (don't worry, the official translation is MUCH better :p), the nice hint book (helpful for getting stuff you missed, but not spoilerific) and all the other goodies.

Here in Brazil, prices just won't lower. The Witcher is still U$40 or 50 in retail =P
Can you check the game version? Apparently, you have to play in windowed mode and the number will be in the header.
Thanks.

Mentalepsy: I think King's Bounty is allergic to not being on sale.

Really? Steam had King's Bounty Gold for $9.99 back on July 4th, 2010... not that this helps... I'll keep my eye open for it on sale again :).

Other way 'round. It's almost always on sale somewhere, especially on Gamersgate (which it is again this week).

OH LOL... sorry late nite. My bad.
For some reason it doesn't appear in the list of current offers, but Mass Effect 2 is 25% off ($30) on Gamersgate US.
I think I'll wait for $20 or less, though.
D2D: Fallout GOTY is 50% off ($25), only available for American countries.

That coupon "ThanksRaynor" still works, $5 off on D2D. ;)
The THQ Pack is on sale for $50 at GG. It is normally $100. I've seen it for $50 for at least 4 times in the last 4 months, so, it's also allergic to being full price.
Pack includes:
World of Zoo (casual)
Saints Row 2 (racing?, SecuROM)
RedFaction (FPS)
RedFaction 2 (FPS)
RedFaction Guerrilla (FPS, OtherDRM - key?)
Company of Heroes (RTS, SecuROM)
CoH Opposing Fronts (RTS, Online Only)
CoH Tales of Valor (RTS, Securom?)
WarHam 40k Dawn of War: Dark Crusade (RTS)
WarHam 40k Dawn of War: Soulstorm (RTS, SecuROM)
WarHam 40k Dawn of War Gold (RTS)
Frontlines Fuel of War (FPS)
Stalker, Shadow of Chernobyl (FPS)
Titan Quest (RPG)
Titan Quest Immortal Throne (RPG)
Juiced 2 Hot Import Nights (Racing, SecuROM)
So, for 50 bones, you get 16 games (well, 8 different families of games) that break down as follows:
2 RPG
2 Racing (maybe - heard they're not so good)
5 FPS
7 RTS (w40k gold counts as 2)
Steam:
Alien Breed: Impact 50% off, $7.49.
Two pack is $11.24, so ends being $5.62 each copy. ;)

Even then, I doubt it will sell, now that anyone can get Alien Swarm on Steam for free...
Anyone wants to do 2 pack with me for Alien Breed? You can Paypal me money and I can gift your game. Let me know if you want.
I'm thinking about it but it's just too similar to Alien Swarm -- although it would be nice to play a more single player oriented version. Some dude on the Steam forum is trying to convince me how it is 'entirely different' from Alien Swarm listing a few trivialities like weapon/armor purchasing and the engine. The concept is the same -- isometric alien shooter. That and Nation Red will be having a sale soon to kick off its multiplayer and, again, I consider that to be similar game play.
