MonstaMunch: When I click the link it says available in North America only. If I paypal someone the money and they send it to me, will it let me download and activate it?
avatar
dyscode: Yes, it´s only restricted with buying. GG does not / cannot check later if this is the US or the UK version.
Awesome, thanks. Would anyone who's able to get Mass Effect 2 Deluxe Edition for $7.49 be able to help me out with this? I can send the money via paypal.

danteveli: Digital deluxe edition get you dlc so its like 2 new characters and new missions plus smaller stuff like armors
It doesn't. Or to be more precise, the standard version has some activable content too. http://www.masseffect.com/me2/info/cerberus/

The bonus content of the Deluxe Edition is: a new armor and weapon, a 40 pages concept art PDF (nice but nothing spectacular), one short comic, a soundtrack (wich imo it's missing all the best themes), and a long make-of documentary.
Honestly I was expecting a bit more for that price difference, but considering I got it during a -75% sale I don't think I can complain. I guess it's some nice stuff for die hard ME fans, otherwise you can forget about it.

An EA and Bioware account is also needed to buy the DLCs (you're supposed to buy "Bioware points" from their store and use them in turn to buy the DLC).

Psyringe: Since no one seems to have posted the direct links to the Mass Effect sale yet, here are they:

Mass Effect 1 - 4.99 $
Mass Effect 2 - 4.99 $
Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition - 7.49 $

I also have some questions:

1. Can anyone tell me howlong this sale will last (the proxy I'm using doesn't relay this info)?

2. Does any of these products require EA Origin in any way (activation, necessary patches / downloads, etc.), or any other form of online activation through EA?

3. Is the Digital Deluxe Edition worth the higher price tag?

Any help would be appreciated! :)
2. I can only speak for the Steam version which did not need Origin. But if you want any of the DLC you need an EA account.
And at least "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Stolen Memories"-AddOn Missions are important to the overall ME-Storie Line.

3. The Bonus is only Arts and goodies, very nice I you are interested in the Art of ME but absolutely not necessary to play the game.
The Bonus stuff is also available DLC mostly but more expensive as such.

FiatLux: I didn't know that GG had a referral arrangement other than I think through the user pages at GG.
Well , anyway , my philosophy is that if you think that the product is OK then by all means endorse it. I "Endorse" many things without getting anything in return but don't envy those that do.
Hey guys ! , Buy your games at GOG !! (Big grin)
I remove referral tags from lnks out of habit (I hate being "tracked" . which one is all the time anyway) - it is not that I think that you should not be allowed to make a little money - thats fine by me......
avatar
Tizzysawr: Well it doesn't really track you beyond letting gamersgate/Amazon know you ran into a link I posted and that they should get me a small percentage of what you get on your current session on the site. I'm aware some people are against it, however, and that's why I generally put the small disclaimer regarding them.

And yeah I endorse things I like regardless of profit, but if I can endorse something and get a bit in return from big companies, why not? At the end of the day I make just a small amount of money (let's say $10-20 a month) that isn't a fortune yet it can always help a bit -- Every little bit of money helps in this world ;) Add to that the fact that whoever follows my links isn't paying anything extra than somebody who follows one without a referral and well, I see more reasons to do it than not to :)
As written then fine by me, and I hope that you can make a lot more money in the future - as you implied yourself then most of us could use a lot more of them....

Dead Space here too. Also in the US store:

So Pheace probably just mixed up the franchises ;)

Edit: Nation Red is also weekend deal:

Doesn't seem good, I wouldn't get it, but perhaps someone around here is interested.

It's a fun little action game. Well worth the few bucks asked for it. I bought it ages ago and fire it up every now and then. The devs are to be recommended for continously upgrading their game with new content for free.
Question to russian forum members :

Is Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe edition region restricted on the russian Origin store ? No more englishe version available ?

No, but you can activate these on Origin. Well, at least the second part of ME.

No, but you can activate them on Origin, if you want (even the Steam versions). If you haven't played those games yet and like Science Fiction, go get them already! ME 3 is the first game I'm going to preorder.
Thanks guyse!
