Any idea on how good GreenManGaming's check out is? I haven't ever actually purchased anything from them, and am not really familiar with how well their check out works, not really sure I can skip AvP at that price, lol.
I originally had Sonic DX for the Cube and despite the wonky camera and unpolished feel i had a lot of fun with the game.

About seven months back for $25 NZD I picked up the Sonic compilation for the PC - it has Heroes, DX, Riders and a collection of 2D Sonic games.

I was extremely happy to see that the games ran very well on my PC or at least as good as they did on the Cube.

Steam also has DX right now and I would highly recommend it but I'm not sure what DRM Steam is using - since I got mine hard copy I only had to worry about the standard 'No CD' DRM.

Everything about GMG works exceptionally well and polished with exception of the actual downloading process.

Capsule serves the game like having your burrito and Pepsi whipped at you when you pull up to Taco Bell's Drive-Thru window.

LOL, I know all about the Client, but AvP is actually a steam only game, which is why I was asking about the checkout processes.

Oh yeah, man, If you're just purchasing a Steam key - go for it! The check out is clean and easy.
For Steam Weekend deal, I have Far Cry 2 and COJ:BIB, Ass Cre and Vegas 2 are worthy for 13 bucks?

It's not a bad buy. I am not sure I would jump on it at that price, but still at about 3.25 per game, it might be worth it. Personally, I didn't like Far Cry 2 as much as the first one, but on the flipside Vegas 2 is pretty good. Assassin's Creed is okay (not as good as the second one though) and didn't really care for Call of Juarez. Not sure if that helps because games I like, and what you like could differ drastically.

Far Cry 2 is an okay addition to anyone's collection. Not the worst shooter.
Call of Juarez is awesome.
R6 Vegas 2 is amazing in my opinion.
Assassin's Creed isn't worth the money.

3 good games for that price is worth it.
Popcap Games

Very tempted to get the Steam weekend deal pack just to have all 3 main Assassin's Creed games. On the other hand, not really all that much of a completionist, and I've read that everything AC1 did well (minus the cities visited, of course) AC2 does better and has better gameplay.

Eh, I think I'll just skip it (and finish AC2 to play Brotherhood)
Ha, look at that! 100 bucks and you can buy the whole site.

Incidentally that translates to $135 NZD and is the same price as just one PS3 game over here.

Assassin's Creed is worth the money all by itself in my opinion. Different strokes for different folks I suppose...

Foxhack: Tell that to PC Gaming Alliance.

Delixe: I'm glad the PCGA is dead. They were worthless and did their best to kill off the PC. They failed, hence Microsoft are pulling out.
offtopic: Yea, that was more like an Anti-PC Gaming Alliance.

I would understand nVidia / ATi / Blizzard / Activision / Microsoft / Razer / Intel wanting to be a member of it ... <- all that were doing some part (games / OS / hardware) and left the "alliance" actually, or are in the process of leaving it...

But Epic / Capcom / Sony being members of it? Companies that constantly bash the PC community and don't give a fuck about it?

I'm glad that its nearly dead too.

I'd agree on the Epic/Capcom front, but Sony have a strong footing in making world class MMOs and other online games for the PC.
