zeogold: Never heard of the band. Sounds like something a hard rock band would name itself, which I was never into (I like softer music, like classic rock or just plain classical). Sorry to hear the dude passed, though.
I can understand not being interested in their music, but not hearing of them? It's so strange. They're legends.

sunshinecorp: Perhaps. Also hint that people need to take notes somewhere. I went in half-cocked because I expected to solve this immediately (of course) and then realized I should have scribbled some clues down instead of having to re-read everything.

As zeog notes, you can (and pretty much have to) ask him questions via PM, so you could use the PM system as a method of taking notes as well, potentially.
This exactly. Mikopotato does basically the same thing, and he's one of the best solvers I've seen in a while.
Although I should mention, TECHNICALLY you don't have to ask any questions to solve this particular puzzle (unlike a good majority of mine), but, as always, it's HEAVILY encouraged. You can also ask here rather than in PM, depending if you want to discuss it with the other players as well.

In my defense, I know literally nothing about hard rock since the stuff, no offense, just sounds like loud, grainy noise to me. The extent of my knowledge on the subject is that KISS exists and that Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off a live bat. That's it. That's everything.

It is loud, grainy noise. To my ears, that's sweet honey. :D And Motörhead has the reputation of being the LOUDEST band of ALL TIME.
By the ways, Ozzy and Lemmy were great friends.

Could be because they're not an American band (most hard rock bands aren't since it's much more popular in Europe than here, so I'd say this is a fair guess).

It doesn't help that the link to your trade list doesn't actually direct one to your specified post in that thread. You linked it correctly but I assume some posts have been deleted and thus the link takes one elsewhere. In other words, due to some forum goofiness it's not quite as easy to find the prize list as it should be.

Never stated whether or not I was interested, prize or not. I only pointed out that the link does not take the reader to your intended location.

For what it's worth, I only enter the gOg contests. And then only rarely.
