This exactly. Mikopotato does basically the same thing, and he's one of the best solvers I've seen in a while.
Although I should mention, TECHNICALLY you don't have to ask any questions to solve this particular puzzle (unlike a good majority of mine), but, as always, it's HEAVILY encouraged. You can also ask here rather than in PM, depending if you want to discuss it with the other players as well.
In my defense, I know literally nothing about hard rock since the stuff, no offense, just sounds like loud, grainy noise to me. The extent of my knowledge on the subject is that KISS exists and that Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off a live bat. That's it. That's everything.

It is loud, grainy noise. To my ears, that's sweet honey. :D And Motörhead has the reputation of being the LOUDEST band of ALL TIME.

Could be because they're not an American band (most hard rock bands aren't since it's much more popular in Europe than here, so I'd say this is a fair guess).

You linked it correctly but I assume some posts have been deleted and thus the link takes one elsewhere. In other words, due to some forum goofiness it's not quite as easy to find the prize list as it should be.
