Nope, I've not answered before. Reasons:

1. Point me to his walls-of-text. He posted a single small one, which I matched in size. Unusual.

2. Point me to his intricately, marvellously, conspiracy-theory-esque ideas. He's given none. Unusual.

3. Point me to where he piles on those who call him scum. I did it, very pointedly, and all he's done is pout and ignore me. Very unusual.

4. How often does he vote before knowing all of the facts. Or as close to all as possible. Yet he rejected my mission before even Asking what my reasoning was. Extremely Unusual!

5. Also, why is he so quick to like the proposed team. Just because he's on it? So he rejects Team 1, because I put myself on it, but he accepts Team 2, because he's on it. Suspicious and spyish. (Is that a word? Spyish, spy-y, spy-like, huh...)

Soooooo, yeah. He's playing totally contrary to his usual behaviour. I asked for feedback on my 3 options mainly to see how people would react, and he didn't. He should have.

My conclusion: drealmer7 is a spy.

Therefore, I don't like the proposed mission. And I doubly don't like it because HijacK didn't put himself on it.

I honestly would feel better if you replaced Ix with Dess and/or yourself, but will still accept trying it as you said. Not 100% great feeling on anyone (more a good feeling about HijacK than anyone else atm) so, it's just a matter with going with what you think is best, seeing how it goes, and going from there. I get the feeling this game goes from suddenly not much feeling/idea of much to go on at all to a lot, and then it's just a matter of what to trust.

You not assigning yourself makes me take a slight little pause, but I do understand the gesture as well and do think it is a Resistance move/don't think a spy would do it at this point (and you especially.) So on top of that, I'd be more confident if you took the person off of the 4 you proposed to us you think is least likely Res.or more likely to be a Spy and put yourself in their place.

Did spies see no spies were on it, and so 3 of the 6 "no" votes are spy, upping the odds to get that many "no" votes? if this were true it would mean JMich is Resistance.

Are the 3 spies agent, Lift, and Ix, and are those 3 yes's the hugest scum-tell of all time? such a thing makes me skeptical of it's likelihood, but it would certainly be nice, wouldn't it? If this is true, it means JMich is Resistance.

Lift voted yes, could be intentional in spy fashion way to do something, totally. Not trustin him at all. But if he is Resistance.

Ix voted yes, why did Ix vote yes? that seems most odd to me out of it all, is he a spy with a spy buddy on it?

I have another idea on how we can choose a team to gain good for resistance. Lets put our most mistrusted players on it (to a degree). Think of it this way: majority voted no for agentcarr16's proposal team because of not trusting captain enough (I know I did). What if I and the rest of us were wrong and agent is being painted as a spy for the rest of the game?

Lxamyakxim is confusing and hard to read. He posts little, votes in strange way. What if he actually is not a spy, but a very peculiar resistance fighter and player in general? Should we not trust him now, will we not trust him the whole game? Being resistance aligned, does not mean a player is/will not be crazy or unpredictable.

To give ourselves a better chance of success, HijacK should include himself on the team. He could very well be a spy, who wanted to stay in shadow by proposing a team with another spy and not himself.

Fourth person can be Brasas, JMich or drealmer7. Why:
- Brasas said to have played this kind of game many times, so he may know good ways for a spy to disguise himself just as much as good strategies for resistance to win.
- JMich gained a lot of unwanted attention from Brasas. There must be a reason - either a good read, or spy-painting. I doubt a spy would attack another spy in that manner.
- drealmer7 is expressing himself in a curious way. Walls of text are not needed here and I do not expect them, but drealmer is talking just the right amount which could be interpreted as "communicating with fellow spies in public". Also, he did not get FoS yet, besides agentacrr16. Expression + rather stable neutral position = who is drealmer?


Basically, I want Mission 2 to succeed, but in the longer term, I also want to be more sure if our FoS on certain players is right or not. If we wrongly accuse them of being spies this early and we are wrong, later missions are doomed to fail just because of lack of "trusted" players. So I am willing to put most distrusted players on the team now and to see if we are right or wrong. Spies are now in the corner where they should or must fail the mission, otherwise they get just one success away from loosing their goal. I think Brasas as a spy could be willing to pass a mission to gain super credit. And if mission fails with JMich on it, I also can't make a better judgement about Brasas than I can now. Drealmer is a different story, so my personal proposal would be:

HijacK, agentcarr16, lxamyakxim, drealmer7.

I included cristigale and Lifthrasil nowhere because I feel comfortable with them. Those two I trust and aiming for successful mission I would put myself, cristigale, Lifthrasil and someone else on the team. Maybe Brasas.

I think so. If all 3 of the mission 1 members were resistance, then the only way the 3 new members proposed for mission 2 to all be resistance would be if those not in any of the missions are all spies. Since you know you are resistance, at least one of the people in mission 1 and proposed mission 2 has to be spy.
Said assumption though requires two things to be true, 1) That all members on mission 1 were resistance and 2) That you are not a spy.

As to why I voted "hastily", I had just returned home at a bit after midnight, saw that a team proposal was going on (or in hindsight, discussed), and didn't want to delay the game by almost 12 hours (and another 6 or so until our mod woke up) by waiting to vote until I woke up. So sent a quick vote and went to sleep.

Time will tell.

I find myself channeling Yogs more and more. Maybe more pacient though, pacient Yogs is not something I've really seen? Given the lack of physical reads, this approach does have positives. I was on this boat, but Hijack's team choice really rocked my world. JMich is cool as a cucumber, so I am very seriously watching him - there's a few things all adding up. And if it's those two, then dreamer makes zero sense as the third. I'm leaning harder on Ix, or maybe yourself in such case.

I really want JMich to comment on my posts so far. And I really want others to help me think if I'm missing something.

I'm pretty much going all in on the Hijack / JMich theory at this point. That does not mean I won't make other bets later if the info changes. So as mentioned, I see Agent as a possible third, but I honestly lean harder on Ix than Agent. Some of you are giving Agent a hard time because of the most (certainly a very) standard play in the resistance = "previous team + myself now"

Me way back - these folks are all too trusting. Why are they all voting yes? Are these two jokers voting no (you and Ix) spies that don't like that the first choice is all clean and terefore got caught in the open? But who's the third sneakier spy then? I know it's not me.

Me when folks were voting for agent's team - Crap, too many people using my bs as cover to become less trusting. Fine for meta, but the voting changes will be more murky in the here and now.

I don't think it will pass the voting phase. Agent is obviously suspicious of drealmer. Ixam attracted some attention from others for voting "yes" on agent's proposal, and people are mistrusting agent.

How about you substitute one of these players? And I still don't see what people have against cristi on the team.

I've been mulling it over, and an alternative would be: HijacK, Brasas, cristi, filler

Basically, if Brasas isn't spy, he will pass the mission. Cristi, I have good reads so far on her. I am obviously the captain. If you don't believe me check those awesome shoulders. Filler is whatever the consensus is for someone supposedly being resistance.

I have no whatsoever idea how you manage to get all these wild scenarios in your mind, let alone juggle with all of them at once and then draw conclusions. It's nuts. But rest assured, I am resistance. If anything, I am inclined to believe you are a milder version of drealmer. Would be interesting to watch you play an actual forum mafia game. I am pretty certain of how that would go, but nonetheless, I require observational evidence to support my theory.

This being said, I am quite curious to see you on a mission. How about this: Lift, HijacK, JMich, Brasas. If you are so adamant to say you are resistance, than this mission should succeed, no?
