I'd like to commend Agent about some of the subtleties in this setup.
1) It is pretty safe to assume that every NK is town.
2) The exorcist was required to target a dead player.
3) Turns out that the exorcist power wasn't the only way to eliminate a spectre.

Dessimu: While basically it means we were more active and does not say "Hey, these guys 'n gal are totally Town!", for me it's as good as some form of trust that we are Town. See, I am. Bookwyrm takes me off his scum list (at least for D1) - it means to me that I am doing a decent enough job of being the Town that I am. For all I know, you should feel the same or similar.
Assumptions may be the death of you. If I don't have much in the way of scum reads, I'll check my "Usefulness to Town" list.

JMich: I do have the inklings of a plan, but it's so far in the left field, it's coming from the right. I'llhave to re read the spectres and exorcist explanations before posting it though, since it is quite possible that I am quite mistaken about its plausibility.

JMich: I can answer this one. Assume the day ends without a lynch. Who will the coroner investigate? Oh, wait, they wouldn't investigate anyone, doing so would mean they would expose their role only to tell us if wyrm had a role as well.
I don't think the coroner exposes himself performing the investigation, and an idiot coroner that claimed after only investigating the first night's kill probably deserves to die anyway.

Ok, t'is my time now. Guys, gals, I am telling you - whoever replaces me, he is going to be awesome! I mean, seriously... You will love him! In fact, you all will love him so much that scum will reveal themselves right away! They will just say "He is way too fabulous, we surrender". And the joke! Oh my, the joke... Don't forget to ask him about the joke! He will tell the joke. It is hilarious.

If my opinion matters, I don't like lurkers (babark, lotsofchickenwings, a bit of a4plz). And they happen to be new players. Lurking makes them hard to read, so if either one (or all) of them are Town, they are playing in an anti-Town way. Should they be lynched? Not before interrogating them. If either of them is scum, they probably would have been told by buddies to participate some more, to not attract attention of lurking. Babark is still absent, lotsofckickenwings is having posts eaten (is he really?) and a4plz still sticks with the crowd flow.

My personal suspects are...all except Bookwyrm. Well, and I trust cristigale for some reason. She really didn't do anything anti-Town.

What puzzles me, is why drealmer7's lynch did not go through.

I guess, I find them scummy the most:
- drealmer7 - strange wagon, given peculiar scum's win condition; desired No-Lynch on the second half of D1
- trentonlf - eager to go after drealmer7, while keeping reasons on general level. I would expect Town-trentonlf to hunt more scum
- HypersomniacLive - lots of questioning means lots of fishing - for Good or for Evil? I would like to see him voting
- a4plz - "go with the flow" style is anti-Town; either has no opinion or chooses to hide it
- lotsofchickenwings - too many posts eaten, too less valuable in-game insights
- babark - where the hell is babark?
- flubbucket - same as always - master of scum in my eyes, so should be put under surveillance. Little posting, mostly jokes and echoes

Bookwyrm must be Town, cristigale looks Town and I trust her. HijacK sold me his stuff and I choose to believe about his RL stuff; does not strike me as scum yet. JMich is lying below average on the radar - I would expect him to be more vigilant. CSPVG...what are your actual reasons for lurking?

If I had to vote, I would vote a4plz for now. And I would also pay more attention to less active players, question them more. The situation now feels like there is a good, soft ground for scum to just lurk. I think a4plz is using that ground and the situation where drealmer7, HypersomniacLive, trentonlf and JMich argue with one another.

That's it, folks. Great game, kill those scum bastards!

Who had it in for Bookworm? Was he after anyone or a couple of people?

Still wondering why Drealmer7 wasn't killed - if he was such an easy target and not mafia - I think he easily could have gotten 3 mafia votes to lynch him.

My general vibe is Trentwolf and HSL are scum. they just seem the most defensive to me. I'll acknowledge being influenced by some of Dessimu's take on things, but there's just been this vibe while reading them that feels scummy.

For history's sake: Bookworm first voted for drealmer7 - though mostly just to kick things off. Then Bookwork railed on a4plz. in 71 and the epic quad-vote in 43.

Begs the question, though - he did seem very townie. As in vanilla. Were mafia that scared of him to lynch him and get him out of the way, or did they really think he was a PR?

I find it hard to believe that JMich would hit him out of spite. But could be. After compiling this, I'm not sure I'm any further ahead. I think a4plz was scared of Bookworym, but if a4plz is scum - would have really needed to convince the other 2 to lynch Bookworym.

....my theory: HSL / Trentwolf / Babark are scum.

Not sure why Bookworym didn't vote for Drealmer7. Can you elaborate @bookworm? (apologies for constantly misspelling). I didn't vote either, as my vote sat on a4plz, and had no computer access prior to the deadline. but we could have pushed Drealmer7 over the edge. Actually makes me think Drealmer7 is clean. Trentwolf and Trentwolf vote for Dreamler7 while HSL lies low not voting, so he isn't accused of lynch rushing. that - and it doesn't hurt for them to make it to night with a free pass.

Why are those my only 2 options? How about neither. My mafia time was spent on my previous 2 posts, and I've not gotten a thorough re-read and analysis done yet. *joking* DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?! Seriously though, I'ma get to it when I have the time, though, unless trent wows with some posts, I'm very comfortable voting him today (no rush at this point, still early in the day and there are lots of other people to hear from about all the things, plus I'm very wary about a mis-lynch with Evil's win condition the way it is, and trent and I always seem to misunderstand each other and see things differently in games.)

Doesn't seem to be a worthwhile plan, too many things that can go wrong. Basic thought was a "what if we lynch the exorcist and have the night killed spectres decide who to lynch each day", but the chance of this plan working is quite low.
So no, not a plan that I would seriously suggest we follow.

Not necessarily. While I agree that most NKs should be fairly safe to assume as town, it's possible that scum might use the NK as a gambit. Obviously that is a big gambit, but disregarding scum might do that is akin to inviting them to try it.

What's it like being a spectre?

Other thoughts to share but they'll need to wait until after some shut eye..
