trentonlf: So who is hosting next and when will it start?
Lifthrasil posted earlier that he was up for hosting the game (along with agentcarr16 as an assistant), if Bookwyrm627 decided to bow out. I'll send him a PM confirming it.

When it starts is entirely up to Lifthrasil.
I'm ready to rumble. I'll just ask agent if he really wants to assist.
I have actually two setups ready. My preferred one would be a closed setup. I.e. you don't know what the hell is going on and it has a twist :-) But I promise that it is well balanced according to everything I know. And I guess it will be fun.

The alternative would be, if you don't want to play another 'experimental' game, a plain old 'vanilla only' game. I never played one and never saw one played. So I would be interested in how such a game works. But that interest may be too academic and a pure vanilla game might be boring nowadays. So I guess the first one is better, but you are free to decide otherwise.

The setup would in any case be the classic mafia setting: The time of Prohibition. And both games would be possible with either 12 or 16 players, depending on how many are interested.

I'll check back with agent and then I'll open the registration thread as soon as I have some feedback from you, if you are OK with the closed setup or if you strongly prefer a vanilla game instead.

I say go for the closed setup :)

Whatever you think you'll have more fun moderating.

Hey now, no need to be all politically correct :-P

You take that back this instant! Don't make me wash your mouth out with soap! I'll have none of that language around here! ;)

But, seriously, I truly don't care about the format. A happy moderator generally makes for a smoother experience, however.

Which list? Did you want to be added to the Hosting List or the Notification List? I am assuming the former, and I'll put you on the Hosting List, but let me know if that isn't what you meant.

Given that you are already on the Notification List, this seems like a good assumption. I missed it the first time. *sigh*

If in doubt, run the setup that has more bacon.

And that's why you don't really need to worry about the 15% relative increase in incidence of colorectal cancer.
