I've no further inputs since the last time I posted, mainly waiting for RW and Lift like the rest of us.

Well, there we are again. Possibly at LYLO... in fact, even if I still like the 'one scum theory' mostly because I want it to be true, let's assume that we are at LYLO. Everything else would be foolhardy. I don't have anything to share from the Night at the moment.

However, I do agree with Joe and dedo that it would be time for RW to reveal, whether he role-copped someone else. Any role information might help, if he had another shot left.

I am, however, not surprised that he wasn't targeted again. Scum would have been stupid to eliminate one of the more suspicious players. Nor am I surprised that Agent is dead. He either was targeted directly or he just did his job and successfully prevented the death of someone else. But I think the flavour of him dying in his room suggests that he was targeted himself. ... That's only flavour speculation which won't help us. Only if he wasn't the intended target, it would help to find out who the intended target was. Because whoever was targeted by scum isn't scum himself.

I thought a bit about Joe during the Night. ... No, not what you think now. I just wondered about his end-of-Day game. Yesterday I had him as one of my top scum picks. I still hope that he is scum - but the way he started doubting himself towards the End of the Day felt as if he was actually searching for the truth. That is quite Towny. Of course, it can be faked, but if it was, it was very well played. In any case, upon re-reading Joe didn't feel that scummy any more Yesterday.

But that puts me quite a conundrum. Just like Pooka stated previously.

Joe - confuses me.
RW and Pooka - both are difficult to read.
dedo - his play throughout the entire game really looked Towny. Maybe he is playing us all. Maybe he is too town to be true. But those are too big Maybes to risk a LYLO on.

The only thing that occurred to me that would involve a scum-dedo would be a dedo+Joe team. Both make a show of their chumminess in a playful, joking way. Maybe those jokes are used to hide that they actually are a team? But again a big maybe. Purely by feeling I tend at the moment to the assumption that my two unreadables may be the scum team. I.e. RW and Pooka. That would mean that I was wrong about Joe, which would be a shame, but it kind of would make sense for scum to be unreadable if they can pull it off.

That's disappointing...
First, I didn't and don't have another Role Cop, but I did have an action last night. We might be at LyLo. Is this the time people should claim? Or at least claim actions they have made thus far so we can piece this thing together?

I like the way this is going down. I'm actually interested why you need us to claim so you can piece this thing together. And how come this single action is giving you the idea that we might be at LyLo (or at least you imply it is)? Found something relating to Joe for instance?

I don't know we are at LyLo, but barring yet another neutral role, we are either at 4-1 or 3-2. And sadly what I learned isn't definitive or I'd come straight out with it. I wish it were that easy. I'm not trying to overplay its value. It's a piece of the puzzle.

I'm asking what people think about revealing given we may or may not be on the brink.

Let's put it this way. I monitored someone in one of the usual ways. My result will either match claims of actions or inactions. Maybe I know someone moved. Maybe I know where no one visited. If someone makes a claim that doesn't match what I know, I've got them. But it's also possible any action or inaction claims don't conflict.

I'm also hoping if we put our cards on the table, we get a better sense or can limit the field further. That said, I appreciate there is risk if it's 4-1 that a mass reveal might help a lone Kitsune.

Maybe I'm overthinking the potential value of this, we'll see.

What we have so far: (taken with the appropriate grains of salt)

Night 1: RWarehall claims to have visited Joe and Joe claims to be Vanilla Town agreeing he has no role. Dedo claims to visit RFG attempting to jail him and was blocked . Joe claims to have stayed home (vanilla). Someone killed ZFR.

Night 2: Dedo claims to have jailed RWarehall who agrees he was jailed. No one was killed.

Night 3: RWarehall claims to have visited someone. Someone killed Agent (or else Agent died protecting someone else).

Maybe if we can add to this, we can learn something more even if there is no smoking gun.

Jokes aside. I also believe it's wise to assume LyLo and I'd say we are now at the point where everyone should claim fully.

I'm OK with what RW said so far and am also OK with having others (Lift and Pooka) share theirs before he shares the rest. In my opinion (feel free to argue against that) our working theory should be that there are 2 Kitsune and this is do or die. Full claims should be done and nothing should be kept back. That one extra action that was kept secret is useless when you lost the game before you got the chance to make use of it.

No, I did not say anything about not claiming, only being wary about giving RW what he wants on a platter of silver. I'm just afraid he'll pull off a HSL.

Speaking of claims, I've got no problems claiming (before or after Lift).

I like that RW is claiming Jack-Of-All-Trades. It's the conclusion I came to after I posted This Post, but before I posted This Post.

I was thinking "Why would Town One-Shot Rolecop RW volunteer the claim One-Shot Rolecop with little information, then refuse to give any further information on the grounds that it keeps scum guessing?"
I thought "Scum One-Shot Rolecop RW might volunteer the claim with little information to give himself credence, then baulk at giving more information - or pretend to be concerned with sharing of information."

But when I realised that RW never actually claimed Rolecop, and I decided only three things made sense:
1 - RW is Town Jack-Of-All-Trades and has more to his role which he's keeping secret (I decided this was likely)
2 - RW is Town One-Shot Rolecop and is trying to bluff the mafias (I counted this as unlikely)
3 - RW is scum.

So I decided to trust that RW was Town Jack-of-All-Trades and see where that got us for another day.

I DON'T like that RW is claiming that he used some observation role - if his hope is to catch someone out in a lie, surely he's just put the mafia in a position that they wouldn't dare lie?
I understand a Town observation role wanting to reveal the action after others claimed, but if you had to make that case, saying "I observed someone so I need to claim last" is surely counter-productive? Better to claim your role and state that you'd rather hear others' roles and actions before you reveal? There's a risk you'll be thought to be scum trying to buy time, but you're always going to have that risk.

Stating that argument I kinda lost faith in it as I went along. Maybe what RW's done does make sense... Maybe I shouldn't have called for info from him first...
