trentonlf: If Dean got the car he would not be immune to all kills except lynches, the car would no longer be in play once he got it.
As stated the scum can not have the car for more than two nights so they can send to their buddy, but when they do they can’t tell them so their buddy wouldn’t know who it came from. Since the buddy wouldn’t know who it came from if they tried to send it back to them it would randomly go to someone else.
Ok then, in this case the effects of the car aren't that big to be a game breaker but they add a level of intrigue. It would make for interesting discussion, particularly if a player who was doomed to be the next NK survives the night.
Also, while I said that scum does have an advantage (they always know whether the player they intend to send the car to is in their team) in the end it's not a big advantage because they gain
nothing from the car. They're not the target of NKs after all and as far as I'm aware lynching is the only way that town can get rid of them.
I wonder if there could be claims about car sending close to endgame. It would allow for a lot of confusion for scum to hide themselves or to tie themselves in lies that don't add up.
