flubbucket: Reading my posts you will find me stating specifically "I am not suicidal" and for the very reason "I am not voting myself."
Yes, you do keep repeating that. At the same time as you say that you are the only sensible lynch for today. Forgive me if I'm not convinced.
adaliabooks: Well lets say five people post that they find Leonard very scummy and they happen to be right.
Clearly a hypothetical situation.
HypersomniacLive: Which game are you thinking of? Give me some info, like setup, what role you had, something memorable that happened.
I honestly don't remember anything else about the game. It's possible it wasn't even a game I played in, could just be one I observed. Sorry.
HypersomniacLive: You must be a slower reader than me then, and English isn't even my native tongue.
You appeared perplexed by the idea of flubbucket seriously suggesting to be lynched, and took his position to be a joke initially. I referred you to game #51, because flubbucket may be joking around a lot, but he's also an intelligent, experienced and tactical player.
This is the town-mindset side of things. He could well be scum counting on enough people connecting the dots in this specific way and not lynch him in the end, and I certainly don't put it past him, because he's an intelligent, experienced and tactical player.
(I see ZFR made a similar point in his post #431)
So basically you're saying, he could be town or scum, but either way his play is not a joke. Ok, yes, I agree.
HypersomniacLive: For someone that has gone over the thread, and has replied or commented on almost everything since they last were on, you're seriously "Oh, and I think" regarding my third and last question I asked you in the very same post you already responded to by quoting it twice?
I asked you about that bit in a very specific context in this particular game setup. I'll be waiting for your reply to it.
Ya, I forgot to respond at that point and then remember I had forgotten, so responded. That sentence made sense in my head.
As for my answer, that was it. Dying for your team is always a part of a vanilla's role, to protect the roles, in this case, the masons. So, as usual, the vanilla's should try and take the NK instead of the masons. Offering oneself up for lynch so as to avoid the possibility of lynching a mason... that's over kill.
HypersomniacLive: When you voted adaliabooks you attributed it to antsy-scum vibes (post #206). When I asked you about them, you said it was just a feeling (post #219). But here you say that you do have reasons. Care to share them with the rest of us?
To me, a scummy vibe I get from a player is a reason. It's his general posting, and insistence on lynching a supposed vanilla towny that has me voting him. There aren't specific things I can point to. As I've said, I play this game from the hip a bit, more like how RL mafia is played. You don't (generally) lynch someone for their slip-ups, instead from a general feeling you get from them because they aren't acting quite how you would suspect them to if they were town. And I don't think it's unfair to say that players on here are experienced enough and clever enough to avoid the obvious slip-ups.
Leonard03: [...] But ZFR, I dunno, I wasn't expecting him to vote you.
HypersomniacLive: Why weren't you expecting ZFR to vote adaliabooks?
Because he hadn't given a lot of indication that he was suspicious of adalia beforehand. And it seemed a bit like hopping to the biggest wagon.
Leonard03: [...] Also, who are you thinking you'd vote for right now? [...]
HypersomniacLive: I'm not quite there yet.
Ah, well I'd like to point you to earlier in the same PM you mentioned to me, where it says "Your weapon is your vote..."
HypersomniacLive: But now that Leonard03 replied - do you remember? Were you scum in game #30? Was he playing in that game?
mchack: now, I do. was not scum in #30 and no leonard was not playing that game either.
Leonard can look up which game he actually meant by himself. Won't interfere in that anymore ;)
Ya, I couldn't find it.

This is very unusual.
So it's looking like we're down to pretty much adaliabooks or flub. So either the claimed vanilla towny who wants to die, or the unknown who wants to lynch said vanilla.
I don't want to lynch flub today, I believe it's better to wait and see what happens N1.
I'd suggest to everyone that we instead lynch adalia. Reading his posts gives me the feeling of a scum going under and struggling to grab onto anyone else around to push them down instead. Seeing his flip will be useful to look back over this day and see what we can figure out.
