trentonlf: [...] It does raise my eyebrows that cristi and Hyper are making an issue of me not commenting on yog's when I haven't even been on to see the comment.[...]
Speaking only for myself, the lack of a comment from you stood out because your posts are back to back (#83 and #84). Admittedly, since I was not here at the time and GOG's timestamps are non-existent, I don't know how close to each other they were made, and if you were online when yogsloth made his. It's just that his post #84, tone-wise, seems to be in continuation to the exchanges the two of you just had at the time, so I assume(d) he made it right after, or (very?) shortly after your post #83.
trentonlf: Thought I bolded my vote
Vote drealmer Is no one else seeing that comment drealmer made as odd?
"gamma are you ever going to be scum in a game with me again? (we've been in like 10 games together and he's been scum once?)" trentonlf: I said it in post 103 where I forgot to bold my vote on drealmer:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_49_retirement_isnt_so_peaceful/post103 bit it seems everyone ignored it or thought it was not comment worthy.
I did see it, it read a bit as LAMIST at first parse (and I see flubbucket seems to have thought the same), but I wanted to/am a bit more interested in the reactions of GammaEmerald and others, and mostly in drealmer7's reaction to them.
Lifthrasil: [...] And since drealmer didn't answer you, I'll answer in his stead: [...].
But he did - post #78, which is actually a post where he quoted you to primarily reply to you.
Lifthrasil: [...] And yes, there are hidden ways to be useful. But I don't see any in yogs case. If you find his anti-game stance to be useful, please enlighten me.[...]
That's not what I meant, also not referring to yogsloth.
Lifthrasil: [...] Concerning my reply to drealmer, [...]
My point is that you take issue with the way drealmer7 approaches what you say, commenting/replying to points you didn't make, yet you're pretty much acting/reacting the same way in your exchanges with him. And when I point it out, you get a tad too defensive, imo, and go as far as to subtly throw shade my way (see below).
Lifthrasil: [...] But I am somewhat surprised, that you tag along. I thought you were more perceptice that that and could recognize a player-worry as such.
This is nice. You are
somewhat surprised? Meaning that you aren't really surprised that I "tag along"? The question is, are you town uncertain of if I'm not scum piggybacking on drealmer7's arguments to try and get you in trouble, or scum trying to paint me in a negative light pointing out that "I tag along" and expressing surprise about it?
Your plea came right after saying that GammaEmerald "deserves" a vote or two for lurking, so it wasn't exactly made in a vacuum. In this context, the question is whether your worry, and the timing of expressing it, is genuine or not, or if put there as cover for/ to soften the impression of your earlier statement about GammaEmerald.
Keeping in mind that I may be scum is fair, if you're town, but, as I said, you seem a tad overly defensive when questioned, when being questioned is also fair, since you should know that townies have no way of knowing your alignment, at least not this early into the game.
Lifthrasil: [...] Back to more serious stuff: @trent, yes I have seen your argument and yes, it does feel off. And now that I have my vote not set at the moment, I can do this:
vote drealmer [...]
You had a good amount of back and forth with drealmer7. Your last post to him (#98) quotes part of his post #94. Which is actually the post where he made this comment about GammaEmerald that trentonlf pointed out. Yet at the time of your post #98, you either ignored it or didn't find it comment/vote worthy. Now you
have seen trentonlf's argument and agree that drealmer7's comment feels off.
Why does this look like you're piggybacking on trentonlf's argument to place a vote on drealmer7? Like you were looking for a reason to vote drealmer7 without being too obvious about it? A vote which you preface with that rather odd "now that I have my vote not set at the moment, I can do this".
I don't know what's going on with the two of you, but I'm not ready to chalk it up to your usual tunnelling on him and vice versa.
Lifthrasil: [...] And drealmer, care to elaborate on why you wrote that sentence? Is trent's suspicion true? Did you just slip? [...]
