Dessimu: Does a lurking, yet providing strong and useful insight player has to be lynched for lurking? It is up to RW to provide valuable content of course and I do understand that any townie would be tempted to lynch a lurker just because (s)he (in general) is less readable and giving more doubt than any other player... But then, evaluating the actual content maybe is more important?

In other words, I ask if "quality against quantity" helps in case of a lurker or not, and from experience - is it better to just lynch lurkers?
If the quality is good, then great. Quantity is not an indicator of quality, though a lack of quality in a large quantity needs its own remedy.

In this instance, it is a question of time and just how easy it is to let things slide once one starts to get behind. Not to mention how easy a cover "I'll be back to answer your question in 2 days" happens to be.
I am checking with my cell phone provider and if I will be able to access the internet while I'm on this trip at no extra charge I'll be able to play, I should know tomorrow sometime.

(Like, I would like to be an observer for now.)
Good to see you, welcome back :)

Observer for me please.

I'm concerned about it too. Wasn't going to sign up but see you are having numbers issues. If you want I can "post" in those two day spans, but I don't think posting something along the lines of "Got 200 posts to read through today in the other game, so I'll catch up when I get the chance" accomplishes much.

When you have 48 hour days and a 10 post minimum per game day requirement with 15 players is 150 posts minimum or an expected probably 400 posts or 200 per day. Of course I could always get lynched or NK'd early and it will just be a 2 day absence, but I will be trying to survive longer than that...
We have about as many observers and players
This is an issue

It is. Mafia-fatigue? Afraid of me as a mod? ;-)

Yay!

Lifthrasil: Yay! Sure you don't want to jump in at the deep end and play right away?
Quite sure for now, thank you. Unfortunately, I'll have exams coming up in the next two weeks or so (not entirely sure about the timetable for it), so I'll be able to follow along with this game now and then, and perhaps pop in and say something in the observer thread, but I don't really think it would be fair on the game to say I'll participate if I know that I'll most likely not be able to devote enough attention to it.
So, how long do we wait for more players? If no one wants to play, we'll have to make do with 8. I am sure I can think of something. Actually I can think of two things: one would be a classical setup, simpler than last time. Or I could run a total bastard game (also in the STALKER setting) where something non-standard is going on and you have to figure out what (while, of course, trying to fulfil your faction's win condition)
I'd be cool with a bastard setup

Lifthrasil: where something non-standard is going on and you have to figure out what
Since Lift is mod, JMich is the cultist.

If JMich were mod Lift would be SK. It's not that complicated.

Give it another 24 hours or so and then go with the bastard setup if necessary.

The Cult Leader, you mean. Also, a horrible human person.
