All this talk about reading books makes me want to lynch someone even more...

Steven Brust's books about Vlad Taltosh might interest you. Vlad is an assassin, and a good one.

Lots of good stuff in here - I've been in a reading lull (a shame, really) so nice to have some stuff to seek out! Okay so the movie version of Count IS good - I mean I know *I* liked it, but it's nice to get some "affirmation" in my taste in Book to Movie conversions when a bunch of others thought it was good too ;)

I'll have to check this one out too! I don't dislike scifi, I just don't read it that often (after I read Dune I devoured all the Dune books by the senior Herbert, and then I read The Jesus Incident and Dosadi Experiment). I've seen Sanderson mentioned many times here and might have to check those out too. I see Ringworld mentioned a lot here as well and might look into those.

I could not really get into this one (I read a translation). I don't think I was very far into it when I was grateful the dog ate it. It was only a few tears in the cover, but it was enough of an excuse to shelve it LOL. Maybe I'll go back.

Wall-ins were an awesome way to keep the Warcraft 2 AI out of your base.

In I Robot? The one I remember most clearly is where they have to find the one droid with an altered 1st law (entitled Little Lost Robot). I believe that was the one that was made into a movie? The story about the robot that read minds was fantastic too (Liar!). Now that it's sitting on my desk I'm strongly tempted to re-read it.

I haven't actually got to those yet, they are in the next room, calling out to me...

Regardless of any other suspicions, I truly wanted to give adalia a chance to wake up and look over a few tweaks I had to make last evening.

99% of the text was set and ready, and while my perception was that the last 1% wasn't a gamebreaker, I didn't want to be missing something and sink several months of work with a careless last minute jump to the left.
