Why would whoever killed dedo put his hand in a box, lock it, and then leave it there? It sounds like something dedo had already? Not sure what the hand means if it means anything. We also found a diary, but it was just to reveal who dedo was.

Unvote no lynch

Still want to hear from Hunter and cristi and what their thoughts are.

Hunter65536: @trent So what do we do now?
avatar
trentonlf: We continue to try and find the scum. What are your thoughts on everything that's ongoing?

@cristi You said it would be a mistake to lynch Bookwyrm because you think he's a cop, I'm assuming you meant town cop as he claimed, so who do you suspect and why?
For the following, I am assuming bookwyrm is a town cop. Additionally, I assume if we have a back-up surgeon, we also have a surgeon.

When JMich flipped Posion-Immune I was suspicious of Hunter. Poison mentioned both in the flip and CSPVG's night report seemed too much for a coincidence. I thought it likely CSPVG was sane and Hunter was a poisoner. Then flubb mentioned that perhaps CSPVG's investigations are all town and all of Bookwyrm's are mafia. If that is true, it means we have two useless (and a negative utility until discovered) cops. But it got me thinking, in the sign-up thread, bler said " There is a way for town to at least potentially “break the game,” however that’s perhaps not incidental, and at least in theory scum have some knowledge or other counters to prepare for that eventuality."

So town has a way to potentially break the game. If CSPVG and Bookwyrm are both useless/negative utility, we certainly can't break the game with that. However, if they are both insane and we figure that out, the surgeon (or other protective role) can protect them and potentially break the game. In order for this to work, we would have to determine they are insane first. By that point, several players are likely already dead and likely including one or more of the roles mentioned. I also believe that the cops picking from random numbers for their investigations helps balance this. They cannot simply choose who they want to investigate, that helps prevent a good cop from being too powerful.

If we have a way to break the game, I simply don't buy that we have two useless cops and some type of inept surgeon and his backup. How do you break a game with that? We've got to have at least some useful assets that somehow play together for town's benefit. If two cops, a surgeon and backup surgeon don't play into the "break the game" mix, we've got to have some mighty assets remaining.

@trent - I never actually got to your question. The dog is waiting for his walk, I'll get to that next.

Also, I haven't had a chance to think about how the most recent posts (since bler's last deadline) affect this
The deadline is now 3:45 PM (PST) on Thursday.
Looks like I didn't miss much! Except a lot of distracting useless jibber-jabber.

*yawn*

It makes 0 sense to kill hunter, I think. The fact that wyrm is trying to convince us that it's a good move (to figure out what KIND of useless cop he is, because that matters SO MUCH) just adds to his suspicion for me. He just stalling and confusing and trying to win his long gamble (and is well on his way to doing that.) To me, D2 is an easy decision and we can't do much else unless we just decide to lynch someone else randomly with a majority (riiiiight.) I know I could be wrong, but I still don't see what else makes sense at this point.

Sooo, yeah, wake me up when it is nightfall! I recommend you all ride this slippery-wyrm wagon.
Why does no one trust CSPVG's read? Yet everyone trusts Bookwyrm despite him changing his claim? We had a flip. It did not say Naive Town Desk Cop. It had no adjective whatsoever. Thus, I have Hunter as clearly and absolutely 100% town. We have a flip that confirms CSPVG was who he says he was. We can trust his information.

We have nothing about Bookwyrrn except what Bookwyrm tells us. And Bookwymn is impossible to correctly read because he was lying to us from Day 1 when he claimed Vanilla....not a single word of what Bookwyrm says has been confirmed by anything. He claims Town Desk Cop after CSPVG reveals. He conveniently claims to investigate a flipped dead person to conveniently makes it appear he was insane.

Look at the flips he have so far. I see no "Insane" "Paranoid" "Naive" etc. The only person claiming such is Bookwyrm. Why should we believe it?

Lynch All Liars. Else, if everyone going to buy the "Ok, I lied, but it was for Town" excuse every time you pin scum down, its no wonder so many fell for the "Town Arsonist"...

Cristigale is trying too hard to get our only confirmed town lynched...Right now, I think she is as likely a candidate as Bookwyrm for scum.

I do.

I don't.

She smells a little funny to me too.

Oh, and I don't even think wyrm had an investigation N0. He's just mixing in lies and deception amongst a bunch of truth and, well, controlling the game.

You must have excellent balance and killer calf muscles!

*tosses trent a shitpickle* suuuuuuuure, you consider voting no-lynch on D2 going for exactly what I was going for on D1 no-lynch, but now on D2 it is too late! aarrrrrr! I'ma 'aaaarrrrrrr' at you again if the secret super-fast town win-condition was D1 no-lynch!

*calls bler a 'BASTARD' again

If she is just as likely then would you be okay with lynching Cristi for today? I think Bookwyrm deserves one more chance to prove his claim.

@bookwyrm You said that you had information on various roles, I think that would help convince people that you're a cop and not fake claiming to be one.

@trent what's your opinion on Cristi? Would you be okay with lynching her?
<The Useless Jibber Jabber Carl Carlton Bad Mama Jama Vote Count>
With 8 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

1. Drealmer
2. Krypsyn
3. Trent (1) - krypsyn
4. Bookwyrm (2) - drealmer, rw
5. RW (1) - wyrm
6. Flub -
10. cristi
11. Hunter
12. El Senor Nolynch

Too busy jibber jabbering: flub, cristi, hunter, trent

Bookwyrm is closest to lynch at L-3.

You have a deadline. It has slipped forward to 3:25 pm PST on Thursday, Mar 31.

I said as much. She's the only other person who has raised my scumdar enough. And since I still think there are two scum and a SK out there...

Where did Bookwyrm say that? I can't imagine how he could have such information...
@flubbucket

Assume A=1, B=2, ... , Z=26

Determine numerical value the first letter of your name squared.

If odd then add 11, if even then add 10.

Divide the resulting number by the square of the number of characters in your name given in your PM.

Is the value you are left with an integer?
