Interesting. Guess I'm not hammering.

Well, with that I guess we're at a standstill til Lift rolls in, and since he'll close the day at that point presumably that's it from me.
Predictable. Trenton hammered himself to mess with his own flip and appear vanilla townie. He had his claim set and then he jumped on his own wagon to do it.

I'm positive he'll flip vanilla town JUST BECAUSE HE'S THERE!

bler144: Heh. I was about to unvote. Ah well. Since nothing's moving I'll let inertia be my guide.
Backpedaling much?

trentonlf: Vote trentonlf
Wise move, scumboy, but I already anticipated it. The fact that you voted yourself and jumped on your wagon seals it. You're scum. One down. I don't know how many more to go.
Remind me, wasn't trent one of the most arduous critics of Booky when Booky hammered himself the previous game?
My, my. Going against your own words. Tell me, what exactly is town in that?
Guess I don't need to vote.

I agree, Trent hammering himself looks suspicious. If he flips "Town Vanilla", that will be the second flip where he hammered with this result. It supports bler's theory #2 on why adalia flipped "Town Vanilla". He appeared to jump at the hammer after drealmer's vote, which does not seem consistent with past play. I can't see that Trent did himself any favors to support his claim by hammering himself.

If he flips something other than Town Vamilla, that's another matter. Let's see how this turns out.

Agreed, although I didn't "predict" or anticipate such a thing.

I think it will be an unreliable reveal just like adaliabooks.

Oh wow... It really was you after all, huh?

@HijacK, I stand corrected. It seems you were right.

Of course he will flip that way. He already set it up. He is either scum who is able to change the flip or is what he says he is (yeah, right!). I'm obviously excluding the option where he is Town who lied.

I'm more interested in something else about the flip, though. Let's see what happens.

This is exactly what I'm tired of. I have been 100% honest yet most of y'all have it in your heads that I'm scum. Gets old real quick. I was done posting in the thread last night because I was so frustrated, and I'm not posting anymore after this as it's not worth it. Good luck to whoever figures this shit out but I'm done.
Insomnia. Surprised the thread is still open.

Meh. Other issues aside, so you're saying if I had voted to take him to L-1 instead of drealmer, and Trent hammered himself you wouldn't be trying to spin that as me as his buddy setting him up to make that play?

I get the sense you were coming at me regardless.

This is where I think the problem is. I agree the move probably seals any question of his alignment regardless of the flip.

However, your argument to me was that Trent was the right call over Ix because of the two it was the flip that would give us "good information." Beginning somewhere around 1370, that's been a point you have repeated. I asked if you were expecting him to 'fess up or if you planned to get details on how the flips fudge from his flip and you said "from his flip."

So if you were "anticipating" this move, why didn't you share that info so we could arrange a counter (place the last two votes when he was off-line, e.g.) and actually perhaps get info from his flip? To solve the puzzle. Like you said.

I was not predicting that move, and it doesn't seem I was alone in that. If someone else had said they "predicted this" NBD, but you said his flip was crucial to solving the puzzle, apparently predicted him mussing with his own flip, and did nothing to prevent it?

Something doesn't add up there.

Refresh - well, if we're wrong, sorry Trent. But hammering yourself at least doesn't look good.
...then suddenly things develop fast. drealmer decides that, after all, trentonlf is the most suspicious person around. Suddenly trentonlf jumps up and shouts: "You want my death? Alright, you can have it! I've had enough of this - see you all in hell!" With this he picks up the rope, climbs on the table to fasten it to the ceiling beam, sticks his neck in the noose and jumps off the table. With a sickening snap his neck breaks and he dangles lifelessly on the rope. For a moment there is shocked silence. Then you gather your wits and investigate his remains and this is what you find:

trentonlf is dead - he was Bartholomew Sanders, Town Vanilla. His only power was to die for his team.

With the impression of the suicide still fresh in your mind, you drag his body into the freezer, along with all the other bodies (yes, during the Day you cleaned up Yogsloth as well) and then you go to bed. Uneasy about what the night might bring.

***********************************************************
final vote count:

trentonlf 6: Ixamyakxim, krypsyn, HijacK, flubbucket, drealmer, trentonlf
Ixamyakxim 2: bler144, Bookwyrm

not voting: cristi, dedo

political vote: Option 3, 1 vote by drealmer

It is now Night. Please cease posting in this thread. (And try not to sleep-talk today.)

Those of you who can converse at night, please do so in your private thread. Those of you with night actions, please try to submit them in the next 48 hours. Next Day starts as soon as all night-actions are in.
This night seems to take forever. Is it, because you all have trouble falling asleep? But after a long while, you fall into an uneasy slumber. From which you are suddenly startled by the sound of a Tommygun. Again! Quickly you get up and run out to see who died this time - and you find Krypsyn in the hallway, punctured by many bleeding bullet holes. But somehow you are by and by getting used to the sight of dead bodies ... and that fact is unsettling. Quickly you search his remains and this is what you find out:

*************************************************************
Krypsyn is dead - He was Estefano Waters, Mafia Jailer, his power was to lock someone in at night, protecting him but also preventing him from doing anything.
**************************************************************

It is now Day 5. You may resume posting.

All votes have been reset to zero and all lurker-marks have been cancelled.

How many damn jailers are in this game? Like ffs? You serious?

Anyway, analysis is soon coming.
@Lift: What happens when we reach a consensus on one of the options you mentioned on the first page?

I recall drealmer voting #3, but nothing happening from one vote.

Of course nothing happens from one vote. This is a democracy, you need a majority for something to happen. As to what happens then, I'll just quote from the opening PM:

Lifthrasil: ...you all have been locked in to find a solution to this mess. You will [only] be released from this closed conference after you have agreed on a solution.
