For reference, I think this is the current state of things:
ELECTION:
Trent North 4 - mchack 269, cat 306, bucktooth 316 and self
mchack East 1 - Flocke 336
all others are self-electing.
INVESTIGATION:
mchack 1 - joppo 333
Flocke 2 - pooka 302, mchack 326
joppo 2 - trent 309, cat 312
Cat 2 - bucktooth 285, Flocke 336
not voting: yogs
FlockeSchnee: No, I said I’m not gonna elect trent.

But, you know, seeing a quabble between two men, standing with one man for a while and then seeing eye to eye with the other, that is special.
Here, have a vote too:
Elect mchack [...]
I don’t see the fuss with Joppo not showing up again to put a vote. Real life happens. Could be made up? Sure. It’s more beneficial for scum to hide between the voters, since there seem to be a few people expecting scum to deny information by not voting.
Well, since she’s not gonna do anything anymore, why not
Investigate Catventurer nope, just you're sowing fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) here. You are sitting down on one of my three scum seats.
First the elect mechanic: It will only work if we can unite under one pope. And it's trent today. That much is as certain as the amen in church :) so going off and starting a new elect campaign like a splitter is a sure scum sign.
Second the voting: Going after one of my most town read persons on flimsy reasons: inactivity? really? from cat? and that while first first defending joppos inactivity with real life happens. Well unlike joppo, cat has given quite visceral details of her RL sickness and what about the inactivity of yogs? why not him?
My best guess as to why all this is? I'm calling it. Scumteam! flocke, joppo, yogs(?). There. (Now wait till I get all red in the face.)
joppo: And of course in a sense I suspect everyone to be town. And scum. Unfortunately, the
one player whose allegiance I could somewhat confidently identify is out of the game now.

Your idea of starting an election of Fark is laughable. An election has to be unanymous. What good would it do when there were people voting to investigate him? Should I assume they'll be convinced by my passionate vote and elect the same guy they're suspecting to be scum? Besides, what was I supposed to do to convince the scumteam to elect Fark? Ask pretty please with a cherry on top?
"...yesterday, we could have gotten an easy town win right there."
No we couldn't, because it HAD. TO. BE. UNANYMOUS. And CatV alone suspected Farky enough that the idea would never fly.
I don't like the shade you put on me with your supposed questioning based on a ridiculous premise.
Well you wanted me to vote, I think it's only fair that I concede.
Vote mchack Thank you for answering. Still leaning scum to me. Since you still play catch-up, you maybe haven't read my last posts, but I'm a firm believer now, that with the right candidate an election can give town a win without getting the elect through (so not unanimous for all, just all town): by scum-confirming the ones not electing with town.
With farky yesterday, that seemed a doable, but then again I was too suspicious of him to suggest it myself. You on the other hand had a strong town read on him. So I merely said you might have tried it, with you townreading him like that. Unless of course as scum and you don't care about the elect mechanic at all because scum is doing just fine investigating townies or waiting for a no-lynch and then investigating townies.
Anyhow today it's a different, with trent as a candidate the election is going to work for us. Since you are not electing Trent, you are very much leaning scum still. But flocke your scumbuddy(probably) got the stronger read, so I'm staying with my vote on her.
