LiquidOxygen80: If there honestly should be any suggestion taken from this debacle, it's this: we need a hard-coded ignore function. Then everyone can have their own little bubble to either let other posters into or not, without complaints about targeting, etc.
Well, that brings up the whole issue that JerkMuter caused, however, which was...divisive enough as it was.
My personal suggestion is just to boot the worst users, the one NOBODY will defend because literally everybody hates them and they're here for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble without constructive conversation of any form (Tauto, Regals, ciomalau, and others). I've seen plenty of people here who I disagree very sharply with in terms of politics and even morals, but outside of the political/moral argument, they're perfectly alright people capable of playing games or making jokes just like anybody else.
Just like everybody has their flaws, even the bad people have some good to them.
Bradley has opinions chock-full of hate, but at least he has the courage to stand for something. Even if that something is something I don't agree with, I can respect that he has principles which he stands by. He, according to him, always keeps his word, and I've never seen him pull a scam of any sort. He's fine when not on a political spiel, and, let's face it, some of his stuff is so crazy that it's hilarious just for the sake of laughing that anybody would even think of doing such things as he's pulled.
Dtgreene gets offended at every little thing and literally only ever talks about gender, RPGs, LGBT issues, and pretty much only anything which relates to her. Egotistic, yes, which I believe is an affect of her autism (which she has to have since she talks about autism all the time), but at least she's very knowledgeable about these particular issues. If I had a difficult math question, needed info about RPGs, or wanted to do research about LGBT issues, she's the first one I'd come to for help.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say I'd be satisfied if literally all Fables did was boot Tauto, Regals, and ciomalau and left without doing anything else. We've managed to not completely fall apart in the 8 or so years this place has been here, despite what others may say about "the good old days", which were only good to begin with because it was so small.
