That's not how the xor function works! CS101, srsly. The specific category for sexual orientation is indeed dependent on gender identity, but those are different classes that should each be protected. Leaving out sexual orientation would allow for "fag", leaving out gender identity would allow for "go back to the kitchen, cunt".

(Also, some adults aren't interested in sex and thus don't have a sexual orientation.)

A nice (as in respectful and not rude) and free (as in free speech) community does boost sales indeed.
That's why people around here don't want a "goody two shoes"-mod that is invisibly keeping people "in line" but don't want total neglect either.

People like tinyE may be obnoxious to some at times and he is indeed crossing the line now and then (the assassination request being the most recent and extreme example), but although I have a great talent for rubbing most people the wrong way, for some reason I never had a problem with him, so I guess a friendly word from a blue one when some crossing of lines happened is all the moderation that is needed most of the time. Just don't make one of the overly authorative people here a mod, a liberal attitude goes hand in hand with a DRM free shop and its customer base.
The best mod around here would probably have been Mrkgnao but this one got sick of the community neglect after having done GOG's job on the technical side (Magog etc...) for a very long time with a lot of effort.
Now that fables22 is at it, lets just hope he/she doesn't vanish into thin air like the many before when it comes to actually doing something.
Handling social constructs is difficult enough, handling a more or less social construct with people from often clashing cultures and backgrounds needs some care and self-restraint.

I appreciate what your saying about saying "Thank you" and on occasion I do that also. But I think that it would get annoying if I were to do that every time someone posted a fix for a helpfull script, a changelog for a game, or one of the many things that numerous members do for the benefit of the rest of us.
