Quote instructions. Use [] instead of the examples ()
To quote a specific post, you need to use the tag (quote_#)text(/quote), where # is the post's number. So to quote the first post you would do (quote_1)OP Text(/quote), and it will come out like this: If you omit the _# part of the quote tag, it will be a generic quote block. The text between the opening and closing tag does not need to be part of the original post. So you can add the quote tags and then enter whatever the hell you want in it, like this
Due to that, you can always press reply, delete the parts of the quote you do not care about, and only leave the partial text. Or replace the whole thing with snip, to show what post you are replying to, without having the full post's text.
