Yes, I know.
Where does my lap go when I stand up??

flubbucket: Where does my lap go when I stand up??
To the nearest bar to perform lap-dances for random strangers.
That's okay, I'll just keep my eye on JMich for now.

This "conversion" thing should make stuff interesting. I sense a lot of possibility for suspicion and accusations. At least we'll know the success once we choose someone.
Doubt any serious vote can be cast today, but I'll reserve my right until everyone has chimed in.

Speaking of Kool-Aid makers, it's a shame the avatars don't update more frequently. Yours is creepy and appropriate.

The one not keeping an eye on other stuff, of course! :D

If we choose to execute someone, evidence of cultist leanings will be very apparent.

Yup, sad the avatar thingy is ganked. "They're" working on it.......

So you Jonesin' for some Kool-Aid?? XD
Sooo, no one wants to share if they think the cult starts with just the CL or a CL and a follower?

do you all know what this means?! DO YOU?!

the time is noon!

Well first, I think it is more likely just the CL at the start (as far as I see it that is how the game would be most balanced.) With that, it leads me towards thinking hitting 1/12 on D1 is ummm, a slim chance, and with it being an open setting, maybe the power roles should just do their thing tonight and we should...*cough*...*cough*...

vote no lynch

WOOooooo, boy! I bet ya'll didn't see that that one coming! HAH! *claps flub on the back with a harder-than-intended (it's the enthusiasm and excitement for participating in voting!), fun-loving, open-palmed pat* *looks around at a bunch of you others**exclaims*

It's certainly better than all this silly RVS voting stuffage! IMO, of course.

Ehhhhmmmmm, does anyone care to join me? and, well, I suppose I should explain WHY I'm voting that way...

Sooo, yep, this is another one of those games that I think a D1 no-lynch is a very valid choice because
1.) we know that there is a role that will gain some information (most simply, if the tracker tracks a player and sees nothing, they aren't the CL), and

2.) we also know that there is a role that while it may not gain any information, still could have a positive result for town over night. and

3.) If we take the chance and lynch someone, (and again, if it is only a CL so far) we have more of a chance of killing a town power role than the CL. Not good odds to just go whacking people, imo.

I'd love to hear feedback from others or others' ideas on anything to do!

What if the tracker decides to track the one the CL converts? That means that the tracker will clear their target of being the CL (true), but their target will still be a cultist, thus they'll have to be removed at some point.

Add to this the possibility of the tracker tracking the deprogrammer, and it's an even bigger problem. So imho, the best choice for the tracker would be to vote for his target's target, and see if they flip cult or not. Thus, unless both the CL and the deprogrammer visited the same person on the same night, the tracker will know who he tracked.

And knowing our luck, the tracker will then be converted, and the CL will know who the deprogrammer is...

JMich: tracker stuff...
Yep, of course there are a lot of variances that can go on with the tracker and all of it can mean varying things depending, and the tracker has to consider all of that. That is why I said most simply the tracker could determine, for certain, if a player is not the CL, and that only. That doesn't exclude all of the contingencies that you've noted, and others.

I don't see it as a problem if the tracker tracks the deprogrammer as long as they are aware that just because they might see someone do something to someone that it doesn't mean they're the CL. And since it is an open setup, the tracker does know that, and so, it's not really an issue, and, again, actually useful information for the tracker as things progress, and that is what makes N1 valuable to one degree or another for town, and why I think no-lynch is okay.

Again, to restate the general position I hold:

On Day 1, if any townies know it is possible that town will gain something N1, then no-lynch is valid D1. This doesn't mean it is the only option I consider on D1 if that is possible, but I'm definitely more inclined in these situations than others. Sure, if someone acts culty or there becomes reason to vote to lynch someone (liiike, anyone want to make a case for lynching anyone?), I certainly will consider voting them, but ummm, right now, nope, no one. The only one I'm finding slightly suspicion is, well, my FoS is on him. (grrr that bolding error!)

to reiterate because of that bolded mess:

FoS RW

for posting only in youtube links...it makes me...uncomfortable...
