A lot of game is outdated.
Please add a "Flag Game Out-of-Date",So we can save our time to send a post on this forum.

Haha. Yes they are really going to add a flag which shows potential customers not to buy the outdated game.

I'm actually against it. It would just be abused by folks who don't understand how to use the feature.

But as a fyi, site improvements and suggestions go over here:

Hope this helps
It's already in the site name:

Good Outdated Games

Not sure what the OP is asking though. Out-of-date by what standard? Graphics? Playability? Compatibility? Franchise? Platform?

If users could freely flag games outdated, I don't think there would be a single game that wasn't flagged.

Some people consider outdated = pixelated or no Cloud saves

With all the talk on the forum about not getting the latest updates for games on GOG, I'm rather surprised this thread isn't getting interpreted as a means for alerting when a game has an update that hasn't been applied. Perhaps only as a topic when contacting support rather than any sort of community edits to a game page.

That's what I assumed it was and I actually think that's what the OP meant, but for some reason I'm very pensive today. :P

"A lot of game is outdated"?

Alright, name a few.

Do you mean Akalabeth is outdated?

Or do you mean we're missing an update for say, GalCiv III?
I think OP is talking about games that missing updates (like Sheltered)

Pff. People are such graphics snobs.
A few games did not receive all updates yet and some updates are missing for quite a long time. However it would be really great to finally hear some numbers instead of the usual "nearly all games" or "most of the games" or other things that just aren't true.Is it a bad thing if games are outdated here - meaning missing available updates? Of course it is and GOG should do something to prevent this as good as they can. However we should still remember about how many games we are talking here.

Rather infamously, all Vlambeer games on GOG have gone without updates. Which ranges from mildly infuriating to absolutely astonishing.
Wouldn't this just be a site feature of the 2nd class citizens gogmix? Perhaps OP wishes info like that was more visible to new gamers.

I think reverse order would be the way to go. Please add a "Flag Game Up-to-Date" as it would be easy for them.

If he meant an easier and faster way to report to GOG staff that some GOG game is missing an update, then actually I think it would be a good feature, as it would be an official way to alert them about such (instead of complaining on the forums, or sending a generic support ticket). The feature should include the user explaining what update or feature is missing from the GOG version.

I am unsure if that was his intention, or to "warn other users". For this latter one, we already have the GOGmix about "second class citizens", ie. games which are either missing some update, or feature, or Linux version, or German version.

I find that mix quite useful because it lets me quickly check if a game I am going to buy is in the list, and how important the missing thing is. For instance, I couldn't care rat's ass if a GOG version is missing German language (I know all Germans seem to care, but I play my games only in English, thank you), and Linux versions are not really important to me because I don't really play on Linux (I do other stuff there though). I also rarely care if the GOG version is missing e.g. multiplayer, or a Steam-integrated level editor.

EDIT: And the list contains also some games for being region-locked in South Africa, Japan or Mesopotamia, which of course matters absolutely nothing to me personally. Poor Mesopotamians, though.
