yangtsesu: A lot of game is outdated.
Please add a "Flag Game Out-of-Date",So we can save our time to send a post on this forum.
nightcraw1er.488: Haha. Yes they are really going to add a flag which shows potential customers not to buy the outdated game.
If he meant an easier and faster way to report to GOG staff that some GOG game is missing an update, then actually I think it would be a good feature, as it would be an official way to alert them about such (instead of complaining on the forums, or sending a generic support ticket). The feature should include the user explaining what update or feature is missing from the GOG version.
I am unsure if that was his intention, or to "warn other users". For this latter one, we already have the GOGmix about "second class citizens", ie. games which are either missing some update, or feature, or Linux version, or German version.
I find that mix quite useful because it lets me quickly check if a game I am going to buy is in the list, and how important the missing thing is. For instance, I couldn't care rat's ass if a GOG version is missing German language (I know all Germans seem to care, but I play my games only in English, thank you), and Linux versions are not really important to me because I don't really play on Linux (I do other stuff there though). I also rarely care if the GOG version is missing e.g. multiplayer, or a Steam-integrated level editor.
EDIT: And the list contains also some games for being region-locked in South Africa, Japan or Mesopotamia, which of course matters absolutely nothing to me personally. Poor Mesopotamians, though.
