bler144: Considering one is noted as incinerated and the other as 'sploded, you may want to PM doc and confirm the spell is viable for their condition, but if it is, getting them up makes sense given the current situation/numbers. They'll presumably both need healing on top of that, though. And Max's combo of low health + disease is going to tap a lot of resources, assuming anyone can cure disease (cleric/druid?).
Resurrect would be a pretty poor spell if it can't handle all manner of deaths, because if the functionality is simply bringing back the spark of life to someone without dealing with the underlying reason for their demise, then I can't think of a single situation where it would be successful (except perhaps death from a heart attack, but the heart would still be significantly damaged).
Ahem, yes, I have a slight interest in the worldly sciences as well. But alright, I will ask Doc.
Also, since you asked earlier, my summoned Holy Guardian was destroyed.
Now, finally, regardless of fellowships and teams and such, we should work together against this (and future enemies) as long as we share this journey through these halls. I don't like the idea of all this collateral damage.
So far, I've been making sure to use spells that would only affect the undead or unholy, and kept in mind the Area of Effect of spells and who specifically I'm targeting and who I should avoid. I ask the rest of you to do the same.
Also, collaboration would help in us not wasting time and resources. It may be a bit late for this turn, but for example, I mentioned targeting the remaining Wight with Smite Undead (if it is ok to leave Thulgrun dead for a few moments), and the Human Ranger also targeted it with arrows. Finally, the Elven Paladin appears to be attacking the Wight up close, which would definitely interfere with the arrows (but not my spell, I hope). And I'm not even sure where the Dwarven Mage not of our party is, and what attack would be interfered with there. Please don't kill each other, it makes more of a mess.
So for clarification, and so that there are no conflicts, I am repeating what actions I am about to take:
* If I must Resurrect the Warrior Thulgrun immediately or else risk permanent death (and I CAN Resurrect someone who has been dismembered and maimed in such a way), I cast Resurrect on the Warrior Thulgrun.
* If there is no need for immediacy in resurrecting, I first deal with some of my remaining enemies, by casting Smite Undead on the last Wight, and Holy Water on the last Zombie.
These the path of these actions of course depend on replies from Doc, and whether I can do multiple actions per turn during battle, but at least you all know of my intention, and hopefully would plan your actions keeping those in mind.
