First and foremost I take all the blame. It's plainly obvious what brought you here. Even though I had no direct part in pissing you off; I facilitated it.
Secondly, part of the frustration should be towards to person who wouldn't lock my thread yesterday, and to the other people who never seem to be online to deal with it. If it was locked when I wanted it locked, the last 200+ posts wouldn't exist.
And finally I put a miniscule amount of blame on everyone who read my plea to report the thread as spam to get it removed, but likely ignored it.

Anyways, what's done is done. I'm not looking for any discussion, as I just wanted to tell you how it is from my perspective. You'll be fine in no time, and the only ones who will remember this are the two mentioned on the OP. It's quite a bit more difficult for me to recover in the public eye from this so yeah, enjoy TinyMetroid XD

Instead of beating yourself up over nothing, you should be patting yourself on the shoulder. If you hadn't opened that thread, someone else would have. Your thread serves a great purpose by largely containing the political drama to a single thread. Locking the thread would cause the discussion to spread all over the forum (which it kinda did anyway) and 1000 more threads being created. This is the internet, guy! The mods likely thought so as well, which is why they didn't lock it.

You meant well, and that's basically all that counts. I honestly can't see anyone holding a grudge against you because of that thread.

I don't want to anger or piss you off, but why make a thread like this? Looks to me, as if this is an attempt to draw attention to yourself. Why not just do what you said without making a new thread?

Lets all play games and chill a bit, I dislike forum fights and stuff. The American election hysteria should die down soon but I feel certain parts of the media are encouraging people to over react.

Pillars of Eternity and it's fucking excellent. Been playing it a couple weeks now and I'd surmise I'm about halfway to the finish line. Probably going to do a couple short and sweet games after I finish Pillars, and then on to Tyranny. Something about the fall/winter months just lends itself to awesome RPGs.
