Leroux: Personally I've already played through the game, but please consider putting spoiler tags in the title next time, or at least put one in the OP, in order not to spoil parts of the story for people who haven't played the game yet and are just curious what this thread is about. It's also a very specific topic that would be better suited for the series'
subforum.
Emachine9643: Is this a really good game? I might pick it up if it has a really engaging story...
Leroux: You might enjoy it, if you're fine with a "story before gameplay" approach. I didn't have a problem with the gameplay at all (it's mostly running around, talking to people, with the odd and very rare fighting or sneaking sequence strewn in, and extremely simple puzzles), but quite a lot of people who liked "The Longest Journey" (a classical 2D point-and-click adventure), tend to complain about the simplified gameplay and lack of challenging puzzles. As for the story, I found it very gripping at first and I was ready to declare Dreamfall one of my favorite games because I had such fun playing it, but sadly it starts going downhill about halfway through, IMO; the story loses focus, gets more confusing and less interesting, and finally ends with a cliffhanger. I haven't played Dreamfall Chapters yet (waiting for the final episode to be released before I start), so I can't say if the third game manages to smooth that out and wrap it all up nicely.
You did not answer the question though; do you know why Faith said to Zoe, "You saved April"? Clearly, April was not saved!
