This is becoming increasingly puzzling... unfortunately I can't think of any games with giant crabs in them, I'll just wait for that "definitive" picture :(

joppo: Updated version of the first pic. It was supposed to be like this the first time but somehow I forgot to put those details in.

I think this will be enough for the smart folks in this thread but if not I'll have another drawing by tomorrow's night of which I'm sure it will be guessed within seconds.
Frogger!

I was thinking in about the same lines but then again it was here like a week ago, so I figured it couldn't be.
Is that Park Patrol (for the C64 if I remember correctly)?

It's one of my favorite C64 games and I'm fairly sure there are no crabs there. Just turtles, snakes and ants. And most annoying of them all - swimmers that can sink you when you hit them but you still have to rescue them when they are drowning

Oh yeah - I only saw the last pic before (the one without the crabs :) so I first thought of Toobin' but thats post-BTTF...
I'm getting real curious as to what this mystery game is :P Crabs coming out of water and landmasses?

A better guess than any other so far, but Frogger 'tis not.

Shucks, was feeling hopeful until Marci87 mentioned it had been done recently... hmm time for the thinking cap again. Your waves look exactly like the Jaws waves but I don't remember crabs in that, just sharks.
I will give it another go. Is it Startropics for the NES?

I don't think that there are NES games older than McFly's travels, but either way the answer is No.

I'm drawing the next pic, but it is being harder than I expected it to be due to MSPaint's limitations (plus my own). There's also the fact that this pic has elements that I didn't need to represent in my drawings so far.

I was pretty sure I had Gimp installed on this computer but I was wrong. And when I recalled how long it took me to install it last time I decided to run with the inspiration I had for my next drawing.

Speaking of which here it is. I believe it will be identified before I need to draw anything else.

Well, since I don´t recognize the game (I´m pretty sure it´s not "Pitfall"), I´ll leave you another option for when you need it MyPaint :P

After that it was kind of obvious :-P

Or am I wrong and the Frostbite just infected my brain?
