Frostbite looks like it, the guy in the parka and platforms etc. Also, crabs! Yay, the mystery has been solved! Er, right?

Don't forget the seagull. I think it added a lot to the drawing and it was the least cringe-worthy part. :)
But if I had to draw anything else I would follow with an unfinished igloo which I'm sure would be really good.

Man, that eskimo was really hard to draw. His clothes' fur is my bane.

Marci87: After that it was kind of obvious :-P

Or am I wrong and the Frostbite just infected my brain?
Go ahead pal, your turn.

LoboBlanco: Well, since I don´t recognize the game (I´m pretty sure it´s not "Pitfall"), I´ll leave you another option for when you need it MyPaint :P
Thanks for the tips

KrisViking: I will give it another go. Is it Startropics for the NES?
avatar
joppo: I don't think that there are NES games older than McFly's travels, but either way the answer is No.
Oh yes, I had completely forgotten about that bit. Actually there are NES games older than Marty McFly's travels because the NES, as the Famicom, was released in Japan in 1983.
Forgot to mention why alecej's reply of Frogger was so good. It was because of last week's Frogger that I had the idea to draw frostbite and to change my traditional style which would more closely resemble the game's screen.

Uh, I didn't know that. Luckily I didn't mock you in that post. I don't like how my foot tastes. :)

And now i sadly have to say that I'll take a few weeks leave from this thread, because of my sudden backlog growth in the insomnia promo plus Runaway from yesterday.

That seagull is fine! Unfortunately I've never played Frostbite, therefore I could have never guessed. Congrats to Marci87.

joppo: Speaking of which here it is. I believe it will be identified before I need to draw anything else.
Nicely drawn, especially the bird. (And with a mouse! Madness.)

It never occurred to me that those blocks you'd drawn could be ice rather than stone. I think I was trapped by my Reus thinking. Also, the only ice-themed Atari game I remember is Pengo for the 5200.

Good round, thanks!

Thanks, I just found this thread and am looking forward to contributing more. I love puzzles like this and had your dang clue in my head most of yesterday. If I'd known Frogger was up recently I wouldn't have guessed it, but then went looking for a clone after your first reply seemed to indicate it was in the ballpark. Missed Frostbite though and congrats to Marci87!

Thank you. The seagull was actually easy because I kinda copied exactly as is from an image search. The eskimo OTOH... let's say the best model for that position I could find was a gymnast girl out of balance.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. It was fun and I'm looking forward to next time.
Just got back from work, so pls give me some time for a so called drawing.
I can't stand to the challenge of my predecessor but I'll at least try to make it interesting :)
here it goes!
