Has wasteland 2 been on repeated sale yet? Missed the first one and now I've got class :(

I spent 14 minutes on the phone, and the thread got 5 new pages.
Wasteland?! Oooooh nostalgia and radioactive devastation.
And the fact that the game was made when the cold war was a thing makes it even more historical.

Here is a good walkthrough that will help you with the start, technical stuff and so on...
Imo it's even today playable and easier to get in compared to other old rpg's, let alone because of the top down view and that you don't need to make maps.
It's quite hard, but imho still worth playing.

I played it for hundreds of hours when I was younger but have yet to return to it. My view through nostalgic rose-tinted glasses is that it is brilliant! I am not sure I would say 'easy to get into' but that depends on your preferences and gaming history. If you have ever played any of the old Bard's Tale games, then I would say yes it is easy to get into and better than those :) It requires thinking and strategy and a hell of a lot of luck (without the right gear) in certain parts.
